  1. Desperate to talk to someone. I am going crazy with the incessant mirror checking. Please help anyone who has this horrible condition. I don't know how much longer I can survive this. I need some coping strategies. CBT isn't working for me, changing from Citalopram to Paroxetine. I am in hell and can't see a way out.
    Big hugs

I know how you feel, I'm constantly checking and stressing over how I look. It's horrible :/ Hopefully the medication change will make things easier for you.

I was diagnosed with this for a short period, then they changed the diagnosis to schizoaffective, I stopped worrying about my face - checking it 30-40 times a day taking multiple pictures with my cellphone. Feeling as though I was too hideous t leave the house. That feeling has passed.
