SF are hosting another Chat Topic Night as the 1st one was very popular and successful. What we need are topics to discuss to please post your ideas in this thread. Suggestions will be put into a poll where YOU vote for the topic YOU want.
Welp, I guess I will put a suggestion of the topic of finding the ability to overcome difficult situations as well as overcoming the difficulty of not opening up when needed?
I'm thinking about the next subject as well, I might have a few ideas from a book about that features ACT techniques, mindfulness, coping and all that... I'll think about how to phrase it too.
Bookmarking and watching this thread at the moment.
Perhaps seems a little unusual and against the norm.
The normal saying is ‘It’s ok to not be ok’. But what about ‘It’s ok to be ok’. When the dark seems like the best place to be how can you make the light feel comfortable?
- "How does a mental health disorder interfere with the life you truly want to live and coping with the disorder?"
Or some varation on this question.
@Lux said I think in a previous thread as an alternative:
- "Coping with a new (mental) health diagnosis"
It could be both be about mental and physical health in that sense then And maybe come to some understanding that they're not extremely different when dealing/coping with them.
- "How have I tried to solve the problems of my disorder/diagnosis, what is actually needed to cope with it all?"
