Does Luvox work for anyone

Told my neighbor, who also has mental health issues, that I am doing grueling erp therapy For my severe ocd. He asked me what drugs I am on and when I told him, I was weaning off sertraline, he said someone in his support group takes luvox. That never worked for me..but nothing really has,..just curious has anyone here tried that for ocd?
