I just heard that she passed away today. One of my professors in college worked with her on a stage production of “9 to 5” and said she was one of the nicest people he’d ever met. It was good to hear that wasn’t just her public image.

As good to know that her suffering is over. She is reunited with her husband.

I had a really good impression of her, I don't know anyone who had any bad things to say about her.

I’ll also mention that Jessica was a huge fan of hers. I think, as another Southern woman who grew up poor, she saw her as a sort of role model.
