I feel lonely all the time. And I just dont see that changing. And I cant help but wonder whats the point in anything. I feel like once its all over at least I wont have to deal with the loneliness and constant emptiness.

The problem of loneliness can be hard to overcome, but at the same time, if you finally meet someone, then it can be solved pretty quickly.

Do you have any pets? I think having a dog that you walk can be good, both because the dog can make you feel less lonely, and also people tend to be more likely to interact with you when you have a dog with you.

I would love to have a dog, but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. I live with my 7-year-old niece and my parents are afraid of a dog jumping on top of her. If I had my own place I would have a dog. But I don't think that will happen soon either. I don't think I'm ever going to have a decent job. I think I'm stuck here.

I just feel like I want to go back to where I came from. Before I was born there was no pain, no consciousness, no anything. I just want to go back to that.

JDot, I first have to say that I really like your avator.

I am sorry that you are having to deal with this. I too always feel lonely and I can understand the pain. This time of year when the weather is nice seems to make it easier to get out and do things where an opportunity to meet other people may be possible. So get out for a walk, watch a local sports team, spend time in the park, or join some kind of team sport like softball or volleyball.

Hi JDot, sorry you're feeling so down just now, but I think the only cure for loneliness and the sense of purposelessness is to force yourself to just get out there and meet people with whom you share an interest.
Life doesn't happen to us, we have to make it happen, and there's no purpose which gives life meaning other than the one's we create ourselves.

I do feel like this sometimes, that my anxiety would be gone if I went ''home'' to where I was before birth. I am sorry you feel so bad hun, I am always here for you. Are there any social groups in your area you go to? Google is your friend :)
