It's New Year's Eve!! We get to say goodbye to 2021 and say hello to 2022!!! Are you going to miss 2021? Are you just wanting this year to end? It doesn't make any difference to you? Here's my question for you guys:

1) What is the best thing that happened to you in 2021? You could list more than one thing, too, if you like. Or, you can choose to not answer at all.

*yes4 The best thing that happened to me this year was just having family around me in general. My family is a great support system for me and I don't know where I'd be without them.

The second best thing that happened to me this year was USC Trojans hiring former Oklahoma Sooners head coach Lincoln Riley. USC (college football team) is my favorite sports team and they had sucked for quite a while now. But now, we won't suck anymore because we got one of the best coaches in college football. :D

Multiple things so far. From getting out of my job to starting to study for medical school exam, succeeding in my IELTS, and getting driver's license although that might not be too big an acheivement. Although there were somethings giving me a hard time, 2021 brought me more good than bad. ^^

1) I have made it so far without getting COVID. 2) I made it through another year 3) I began therapy and am making some very big changes in my life. This week I emptied my Facebook except for a few groups I am in, I no longer post crap on FB. I also put together the vast majority of my lanterns and am selling them on Marketplace in one lot, I kept just a few of my best ones, that will be a huge change. The price I am asking and everyone being off work today I expect to have cash in my pocket by the end of the day. The money will go towards paying my roommate back for helping me fix my car so I literally get rid of a load off my mind plus owing him money will be off my mind.

Thanks for the tag @Blue Star :)

I will be very happy to say goodbye to 2021 although I know next year is going to be a hard one. I'd quite like to skip ahead three or four years at this point.

The best things about 2021 for me was going back to work after a four year break and my brother coming for Christmas.

Thank you for opening the New Year's Eve cafe and the tag @Blue Star
I avoided Covid manifesting at the same time engaging more with others. 2021 is gone and I'm looking forward in '22 to continued health and expansion with life via more ease in my physical body and world, more calm and nurturing in my emotional experience in the world, and more clarity in my mental perception of myself and the world. Happy New Year Ya'll.

i dont know what is the best thing that happened to me in 2021. i managed to get new jobs quite easily and for that i am greateful, even if i do suck at commitment and have quit all of them in the end. but it was good i had the chance to work on things. i suppose just being able to acess my support groups online and face to face was good. . its good to have access

Yay a Jim's Cafe!

I am grateful that i didn't get Covid and was able to work from home. I have to go back into the office soon to test my designs but it was inevitable and it's part of my job. Just on bad weather days I can stay home and work.

I am also grateful to have a grandson and a family to support me emotionally (not that the grandson can do anything he is only 1 yo). I haven't had suicidal thoughts in a while although I am getting to the point where life seems pointless. But I'm sure with SF those feeling won't be as strong as before.
