The best thing that happened to me this year there’s a couple. First I made a new friend here and she has been great support and very comforting and positive towards me always encouraging me and telling me I’m better than how I see myself. Also all the continued support and care I get from my SF family. I don’t think I could have made it through this year with out your support. Also my baby just turned the magical age of 16 and I am so proud of her and how responsible and mature she is and the wonderful young lady she has and is becoming. I’m thankful I got to be her mom for one more year.

Best thing thats happened to me this year.... hmm... a few things really, in order they happened:

1) Beat depression.
2) Fell in love.
3) Got a promotion at work
4) Got that piano I've always wanted. (Casio AP-45)

I won't miss 2021 much because it mostly represents Covid for me, and guess what, I've been avoiding it for so long but managed to get it in the last days of the year. :P So here I am, on SF, on New Year's Eve. * sigh *

But we can all celebrate together!

I lost the ~15 lbs. or so of COVID weight gained in 2021 (thanks to the gym shutting down)? Hm... that'll have to do! 😂

I am glad that I am still working, nothing too bad physically going on with my health and like others that we have a spot here with the forum where those who feel like nobody wants, welcomes or cares about can meet people who do welcome and value them.

Cool that there's a new year's cafe, happy new year everyone.

Aside from SF, some things I'm glad about for 2021 are:

- My family and friend
- I got psychologically stronger
- That I made more effort than I have in a lot of years to get walking and do more physical activity of some kind
- The new cool people and things I discovered
- My kitty
- Animals in general
- All the amazing, wonderful and inspiring art I found

Hopes for next year are that I'm hopefully able to continue with being better about physical activity, that I keep getting stronger (and caring a heck of a lot less about pointless nonsense) and that I am able to stay healthy and safe at least physically.

personally I haven’t enjoyed 2021. It has been a shit show. The only decent thing to come out of this year was getting a job. There’s been no plans for anything. There’s been no good really. I hope your 2021 was better than mine
