Well, it's 6.30am here... yesterday I went to work, then went food shopping, when I got home I called my parents to wish them a happy new year (they are 5 hrs ahead of me), sent some text messages to friends, made myself a brie and bacon sarnie and watched Luther on iplayer with some wine. Heaven!

N.Y.E. was a long time coming. Started today on here which was great but then my "quick" shopping trip wound up taking 2.5 hours. Fortunate I rented the 2nd chapter of the movie It. We watched that tonight instead of going out which was fine with me.
Tomorrow I am making a roast along with gravy, a yam bake, vegetables and mashed potatoes. Good food and the potential for lots of leftovers is a good way to start the year

Oops forgot to answer the q about what I'm looking forward to in 2020 but overall I can't think of much of anything, if it's "better" than last year then that will be good. Don't think it's a good idea for me to hope for much more than that it will only lead to infinite disappointment which I've had enough of.
