Lame! People who steal earbuds have got to have something missing from their thought process. Like if someone wants to stick something in their ear that has spent literally hours per week in my ears, since they were new, ick. Maybe they imagined selling them, but the market for used earbuds must also be populated with people who lack a healthy respect for hygiene.

I hate buying new earbuds, too.

I feel the same when people advertise used trainers on ebay 🥹

I'm feeling a bit better today. I'm really glad I could vent here and obtain support. Yesterday was so awful. I so badly want to heal from past abuse and move forward, but @Lane, as you mentioned, I do need to be gentle with myself, just as I would be with someone else. I do struggle a lot with that.

It definitely did not come across that way at all. I've always been a proponent of letting the tears flow as a way of releasing emotional pain. I guess I feel like such a mess when I do, and that I do it too often. Thanks for helping me put things back into perspective. No good comes from holding it all in.

Agree there's that too. Ick factor 5. For travel it is great to have the noise cancelling option, but I might go back plain old earplugs when the need arises.

I did end up buying new ones today. 🫤💶 💸

Perhaps I should go on there and offer up used pre-soiled drawers, the skids just give a bit of extra flair and flavor(if you try tasting).

Well - it turns out I had to take my own advice here. Just a had a howling, broken down, reality shifting cry. Thankfully, you had brought it up so I could readily remember how to let it through. I don't think the neighbors heard. I managed to get my face in something large and plush to muffle the sound. Not all of it, though. Some of it came on too suddenly.

Some tears from a long time ago that never got let out. I anticipate sleeping well tonight. How I will be when I wake up is uncertain. At this phase, I don't even know who in the actual f I am. How can I kms if I don't even know who "ms" is?

Lol nice to wake up to a chuckle or two. I say wake up but was a bit of a broken night. Got dentist at lunchtime and then doctor admin chasing various results to decide next steps. Antibiotics run out tomorrow so am anxious about that. Trying to stay calm.

My Achilles tendon really hurts when I walk but I dont want to go to the doctor. I hope it can heal on its own.

Apprehensive. Got dentist now. Hopefully not too bad from both an investigation and cost point of few. I hope it's the usual "come back in 6 months" plus the hygeienist torture. It makes me feel so panicky during the process.

Relieved. Dentist went well. No gum or teeth changes, all free of caries, and didn't have a panic attack during the waterboarding thing. Maybe my nervous system is healing. Well, that's one health thing that's OK at least.
