I think I might need to change my meds again I don't know. I've been getting suicidal thoughts again but for no reason. . I have an appointment soon with my psychiatrist but I might need to move it up. I don't know what to do I take so many meds every morning it's over 20 pills. I keep asking to change them due to side affects but they say no and that I need them.

I take abilify and I basically I started maybe 2 months ago. I told my psychiatrist about the other side affects and that's when she refused to change it. But she doesn't know about the new thoughts. I want to go back to my old meds. I had lots of side affects with those too but no depressive thoughts for several years.

Oh well I guess I just needed some place to vent. I'm rambling I guess sorry.

My experience: doctors sometimes do not know everything - we always think they are "gods in white". If I were you, I would search the net: What you suffer from, what other people helped the best. Sometimes you find a good solution. I got one - I am not taking anything against depressions etc. any longer - I switched to a complete other type of medication. And it HELPS.

It's fine to vent, and 20 pills is a lot! Some practitioners, IMO from what I've seen, need a better comprehension of the concept 1) less is more and 2) do the benefits outweigh the risks of potential side effects for the patient both short term and long term.
