I've been having a lot of trouble with a "cousins" death in August last year. She overdosed on heroin, after getting out of rehab for the 6th time and getting a new apartment and a job offer. I cried so much at the funeral, more than most of her close friends and even her mother(who im sure had exhausted all her tears over the days since her death) I still cry about it whenever it creeps into my mind. I had wrote letters to send her while she was in rehab, letters with pictures from the last christmas we spent together where my oldest half brother drunkingly put on her high heels and made himself look like an idiot. Pictures of the time my other half brother and all of us got drunk and decided it was a good idea to hang on to a car while on skateboards. It was a great night even though we all ate the road. I knew she'd love it and the memory. But i never sent them because i worried we were not close enough. And now she's dead and i wish we could talk and hangout. Am i a horrible person for that?
You aren’t a bad person for not sending the pics.
