I'm done.

#1
Feeling neutral. Neither bad nor good. Just even. Logically, I'm done with this place. Like I've finished a meal and existence is a dirty plate just to be discarded. This is not a good place. Corporeal existence is not a good thing. When taken in totality, existence cannot ethically justify itself. Aesthetically, this place is rotten. All that is is like a cartoon version of Hell. Just from a neutral, logical point of observation, in tandem with my subjective whim, I'm just not interested in this place. Endless tasks only to die and for literally everything to be assimilated into a final darkness. The last mountains will crumble into every planet. Every planet will collapse into the nearest star. Every star will explode until there is nothing left. I've seen all I want to see. I'm done and I'm ready to leave. My only reprieve is the thought that the end is inevitable. Even eating is too cumbersome. It's all just so tiresome and worthless. Nothing is meaningful, not even meaning itself. That's it.

@giorgioarmando Welcome to Sf.

Sorry you are feeling like that; I intentionally call it a feeling because it's much more than thoughts. Hopefully that doesn't come across as trite. Please continue living. Perhaps find support here.

Your words are eerily familiar, I've had them and discussed them at length with a couple of people in real . While the likelihood of it is slim to none, life. it seems as though I know you.

I appreciate it, and no, I perceived no triteness. In fairness, I don't really have much of a choice when it comes to the continuation of life. I've already tried innumerable times to cease all biological functioning yet my survival instinct is a strong preventative force. The flesh is not necessary for us to be acquainted; your empathy is more than sufficient. I wonder how many of us are dealing with issues of gender amid our capitalist dystopia, to boot.

I'm sorry life feels so meaningless.
Every planet will collapse into the nearest star. Every star will explode until there is nothing left.
Yes, from what I've heard, the latest scientific view is that the universe will eventually disintegrate into nothingness, and humans will be long gone before that. However, if the universe simply emerged out of nothingness, maybe the process will simply repeat?

I hope you will carefully consider any decisions regarding suicide. It would be a great tragedy if there is something worthwhile about a human life that you would lose.

There's an interesting video called "Is there life after death? 50 years of research at UVA" (not sure if that's the exact title, but it's close). Maybe it's food for thought.
