My dad has hit me before. It's likely pretty common and I'm likely lucky that I haven't gotten any bleeding wounds from it yet but I'm honestly really afraid whenever I see him with a knife. Even when I know he's just cutting up fruits or something with it, I'm just a bit afraid that if I upset him he'll hurt me. He has thrown me put of the house multiple times before, where I would sit there barefoot for hours and wait for him to let me back in.
He has done other slightly abusive things as well but I have a habit of making things too long. I'm honestly really not up to go to school tomorrow but I'm scared he'll really hurt me for real this time. I love my dad I really do, he raised me when my mom had just gone and got a divorce, but I'm also afraid of him.
