[Winter Blues]

Morning everyone .. or at least everyone on the UK side where it’s now 2.00 am. I’ve had a bad 24 hours and I’m sending this from hospital under my sheet by torch light!!! I’m hoping we can have FRIENDS as the topic of the cafe today .... you mean so much to me - I thought we could all celebrate friendship and the SF friends in particular.

Trouble is I can’t get to the shops for food so can you all pop in with something to eat (just not grapes!!). I'm eating the jelly beans my mom sent me for Easter. I was really surprised she sent me this package with candy last week. They're the Starburst brand of jelly beans, which are nice, especially since they don't have a licorice flavor, but I've brought some Jelly Belly brand jelly beans along. I really hate a few of the flavors (licorice, buttered popcorn, and caramel corn in particular), but they're mostly good... and there's like 49 different flavors.

Also we can have some gyros. I'm never quite sure how to pronounce that. I've been told that yee-ro is the proper way, but at a different restaurant they just said jye-ro, and I think I've even heard jee-ro

Now I just have to figure out how to get food to the UK from Florida.
Too bad the Concorde is not still around.

I appreciate that a lot. <3 I always read and care, and always hope that you're doing well. If not, I'm usually here to talk to if you need it. I'm pretty sure I come across as a bit insensitive or intimidating to some people, which I don't mean to do. So if that's ever the case, just know that I'm never judging or doing it purposely and that you would never be bothering me if you need someone to talk to.

I don't know how to do friends. I usually charge in full steam and get in too deep with the wrong people and/or weird out the good ones. Soooo I'll bribe you with food

Hi @PatrickFL - wow Concorde - such a beautiful shape! Well we could meet half way ( where would that be !!) but just knowing you’ve popped into the cafe is great. Huge hugs xx

@baywasp - gyros is probably my favourite ever food. There's nothing like sitting on a Greek beach watching the sunset with a gyros in one hand and a cold mythos beer in the other
