I've always found the exploration of space inspiring. I saw "Star Wars" when I five, then I discovered the space program, and to me, it was as if "Star Wars" was real. I watched Columbia lift off for the first time on TV - April 12th 1981, and to me it was like watching a real-life Millennium Falcon take off for the stars. I've been a fan ever since, so getting to work at the Space Center for nine years was a dream come true. That's why this picture is so special to me. So many of you already know my real name, this is what I look like. I know my appearance doesn't matter to all the friends I've made here because I know none of you would ever do anything to hurt me. You've shown me that you care by helping me during a really bad time in my life. So this is me in real-life. This is also me emerging a bit from the shell I've been living in for so long by revealing my appearance. Thank you for this. It means a lot to me.

I have a hard time picking a single fave a lot of the time, and when it comes to pix of things especially so these are some of my faves.

The reasons they are meaningful to me:

1. Black cat - Our current kitty, her name is Bella and she is very sweet, loving, adorable and will be 2 years old next month.
2. Redwoods trees art - Never been to the Redwoods forest but it's one of the places I want to go more than anywhere else in the world right now.
3. Brown & white kitty - A kitty we had years ago, she was very special to me (her name was Chloe) and she's the pet I had for the longest amount of time in my life. We had her from the time she was a kitten til she was 17 years old. I lived with her for a total of 10 years of my life.
4. Rainbow infinity heart - Cos I love the idea of love being infinite. Also cos it's how much love I feel for the things and people I love.
5. Mark Hamill - Picked this particular pic of him because the expression on his face reminds me of my uncle who I haven't seen or talked to for over 15 years now (he's still alive but dunno where he is, long story). I also just really love this pic of him anyway and he is special to me because of being a big part of what gave me hope back in 2018 and has given me hope ever since
6. Rabbit - Kind of a long story with this somewhat so I'll keep it short and just say - rabbits are very special to me.
7. Girl holding flower art - Not necessarily about the specific pic so much as the fact that it's art. I love art very much, many different styles of it.
8. Redwoods again - A non-art Redwoods pic, same reason as #2 :p
9. Rainbow peace sign - Cos I love rainbows and trying to keep the peace as much as possible.
The border of this whole collage is pink cos it's one of my fave colors :p

I didn't know that either! :o I figured no one ever did cos they just didn't want it to be easy to be identified publicly by people when the nature of this site is so...psychologically revealing. But ya it makes sense that it's probably better that people's identities stay protected anyway. Glad to have a bit of an idea of what you look like though, been curious about it for quite awhile now

Nope nobody but those that knew me back then would ever make the connection. I now look far differently and more butt ugly. LOL

I know I posted a picture of me long ago after joining which was removed, no problem at all, strangely you would never recognize me now since the one I put up was from the early 1980s when I was in high school, had hair and actually was smiling. Nope nobody but those that knew me back then would ever make the connection. I now look far differently and more butt ugly. LOL

No, I don't think you look ugly at all. Now me, that's a different story. lol

Oh wow didn't know that @KM76710 that you ever posted a pic of yourself here. I never have well not where you could see my face anyway which I think is what the mods care most about (that you can't be identified). And aw well everyone looks diff. from the time they are in their teens and after that. We all age differently and keeping in good physical shape helps it go better a lot of the time. I'm sure you aren't butt ugly though, that's a terrible thing to say about yourself or anyone for that matter. I think the word "ugly" should be completely eradicated as a word cos it's just kinda harsh and mean, just sayin'. I try to never use it. The worst I'll ever say is that I don't think something looks very good. In terms of people I try to not even go there in any way at all cos it is just mean and unnecessary.

It does help also helps having two good sized scar cuts along the right side of my face that never healed well and look as much like gouges. Cuts on the face can have problems healing smooth because of talking, eating, laughing. I just tell folks I stuck my face into a fan, works wonders for having irritating people to leave ya alone
