Hi @JMG
Thanks for the cafe
3. What are things you find peaceful in general?
A lot of my non-peaceful feelings come from interacting with other people

I quoted this particular part of what you wrote as part of your reply to the 3rd question, cos ya that is very often the source of inner turmoil for me as well. I feel bad to say that cos I think they aren’t (usually) trying to upset me, and I know it is probably mostly my own “stuff” (sometimes being triggered, taking things too much to heart, misunderstandings, etc). I really hope one day that it will be a mandatory thing that is taught to kids from grade 3 on with how to communicate effectively, why it is so important to be kind to others instead of mean, and perhaps where one of their tasks to help facilitate doing that more and better being to write at least one or more positive things about every single one of their classmates. Appropriate/personality kinds of things only, they could give them examples of things to write and then after post them up somewhere proudly in the classroom for all to see.
Aw typing this is making me think maybe I shoulda been a teacher lol, cos I definitely have some ideas of ways to encourage kids to be kinder to one another. Positive, loving acts are a big part of what absolutely has the power to lead to a more peaceful world imo
Anyway, hopefully that will at least be a thing in the near future. Teachers have a LOT of power to help inspire kids to get along with each other better, especially those who come from unfortunate, unsupportive homes. It can make all the difference in the world for those students.
