Hey everyone, hope you’re well. Thought I’d post a cafe for today, and this one has more of a “theme” than most of mine usually do lol.

Today’s theme is horses. I put together a collage of some horse pics I think are cool, and also a few questions for people to answer if they want

My answers to the questions:

1. Do you like horses?
Yup, I love them and think they are really cool animals

2. Have you ever ridden on a horse?
Kinda. I don’t really care much about “riding” them, just admiring them lol.

3. Not a horse themed question, feel free to talk about whatever you want here.
Annoyed right now cos of some online stuff that is not cooperating with me. I really hate it when you order something and then they tell you it’s not available. Tried to click to approve the substitute, then the silly site brings up a message saying they’re having “technical difficulties” and to try again in a bit. Well that’d be fine if it was due to be delivered tomorrow, but it’s due to be here within the hour, so wtf?! Infuriating.

Aside from that bs, I guess I’m pretty ok. Feeling quite tired cos didn’t get enough sleep, but once order is delivered then I will be going to sleep for the night at least lol.

I do like horses. I’ve only “ridden” one once, and that was just a bit of slow walking around followed by a photo when I was a kid. But there’s a wealthy area nearby where horse ownership is pretty common. There’s lots of stables, and riding trails that weave through residential areas, so I encounter them pretty regularly when I’m there. I used to see them a lot when I’d deliver pizzas there.

Once I delivered to customer who was not in that area, just a regular residential street, with regular sized yards and regular houses maybe 10-15 feet apart. The guy had a horse in his front yard, I had to squeeze past him to get to the door, and he was calm and friendly but I was a bit wary, especially of being behind him.

No, but maybe I will at some point. Seems a bit intimidating to me. lol

I did some riding in my teens. A good friend had a couple horses. It was a great experience.

I like horses, but I think donkeys are cuter. I rode a horse once on a family vacation in Georgia (the state, not the country lol) as a kid.
I'm coming to the end of my semester, so I have a lot of work due soon but no motivation right now.

Morning here so good morning. Thanks @JMG for opening - I can't ever do a "theme."

1. Meh, could take or leave horses.
2. Yes I have twice in my life maybe three times. I'm not comfortable on them.
3. Cooking and baking a storm for Christmas. just finished the vegan cookie bunch. they don't taste bad but not as good as with real butter and eggs. Now i get to do the non vegan cooking and wrapping presents. Boy I hate wrapping.

I love horses. I used to have a sweetie called Winston. I was the wierd one here in the Texas area that used an English saddle when everyone else sat western.

*Yes i love horses.
*Rode them quite a lot growing up and as a young adult through my 20s. i haven't had much of an opportunity to ride since. i would absolutely want to again. There's just something that is amazing when you can connect with powerful nature. i consider horses extremely powerful. Often times they are like huge dogs. They can do just about anything, yet the choose to connect with humans.
*i love the last picture. The power and wonder that t brings.

I think horses and quite impressive animals, very beautiful and graceful.

2. Have you ever ridden on a horse?

I have especially when younger and my grandparents were still in farming because they still had horses around. Quite fun but you have to know your way around them or like any animal especially large ones you may have troubles.
