@JMG
Thanks for the tag.
(1) Actually I enjoy nature when it's COMBINED with man-made things. For example, here at the downtown park, its pond is man-made, and the waterfall is man-made too. But of course the water itself is nature, so it's a combination of both nature and man-made.
(2) I read in a previous post about nature being ruined. At the same time, I also notice in Japan that their nature is very well preserved because of their religion of Shintoism. Because Shinto believes in animism, nature spirits. Instead of belief in a single God, they believe a multitude of gods, each of which represents a different part of nature. So they respect nature.
Moreover their Female gods are just as powerful as the male ones. Whereas in the West, the single God is male. Why should a male be dominant over a female? I think it's wrong. At least in Japan the FEmale gods are just as powerful. So the Japanese got it right. What say you, JMG?

Thanks to everyone for replying here, and you’re welcome for opening the cafe and the tags :)

@Winslow - I find those Japanese concepts of everything having their own spirits and gods to be very fascinating. I like to believe that about things, and I think I’ve always kinda been that way about stuff too. Even as a kid, I’d feel bad for my toys or other inanimate objects if I dropped them or damaged them in some way. Sometimes I’ve wondered if I was just too sensitive about things, but I like to think it’s more about doing my best to do no harm to anything, living or non-living.

I don’t want to add to destruction in any way at all. It makes me so glad knowing the Japanese respect all the energies of everything in this world. I like that the female gods are just as powerful as the male ones too. It’s much more fair and balanced.

Hey @JMG, thank you for the tag and for opening the cafe. :)

I love lots of things about nature...the animals and all of the plants and trees. I hate when it's too hot or too cold, or when everything is completely buried in snow. Also not fond of being around animals that could kill me. :D I am doing alright today, hope everyone else is too.
