Dear All ... and a very early hello to Wednesday. I can’t sleep so decided to do a great big family breakfast. I have had some truly wonderful conversations over the last few days but I also know that many of you are struggling hugely right now. So, please come and join me for breakfast - bring pets, music, books, life stories or jokes.

I’ve put on a full English for those who want the real deal, @walkerbait95 i am still trying to find your coffee mug, @Karmitkurmit ive done you a boiled egg - I’ve done dog, cat and even bearded lizard breakfasts for those of you with pets, and @PatrickFL ive replicated the Concorde breakfast just for you.

For folk like me who don’t eat breakfast there’s a huge hug waiting. So invite your friends and everyone I’ve forgotten. Forgive me - all this cooking has caused a mountain of washing up! Love and huge hugs to you all xx

I just had my dinner of sushi and cheesecake, but I'll check in for an extremely early breakfast. I'm getting ready to watch a Capitals playoff game. Spurs already disappointed me by drawing with Brighton earlier, so the Caps better win. Or they'll be down 3-0 in a best-of-seven series. I also have to work on some homework, but I can get it done after the game probably. Or tomorrow morning because my class doesn't meet til 1 pm.

It looks as if your playing the Columbus Blues is that right ... I don’t understand the way the league is printed on my search - I’ll check again tomorrow. Hoping your team wins xx

I was considering Swansea when I was in the process of choosing a team last year... and Man U to a lesser extent. I just thought Swansea sounded cool and I thought it was interesting how they're in an English league even though they're in Wales. The next day I thought of the fact that I liked to watch good goalkeeping and looked up a list of the top Premier League goalkeepers for the 2016-2017 season. De Gea was #1 on the list, but at that point everyone thought he was going to be transferred to Real Madrid. Plus Man U seems to be the standard team for Americans pretending to like/know football. So that just seemed a little too cliche for me. I looked at the #2 keeper on the list, which was Hugo Lloris. Plus it helped that I already had a friend who is a Spurs fan.

Close. Blue Jackets. There's another team called the Blues (in St. Louis) that didn't make the playoffs this year. And thanks. I have a rugby teammate who is a Blue Jackets fan, and I'm tired of hearing his trash talk!

I like your reasoning and thought behind choosing your English team and agree re Man U. One hell of s lot of people support them because they think their cool. I’m one of the originals who is watching them slide at the minute. Fingers crossed for you tonight .. and I’ll research the teams more tomorrow. It’s gone 1.00 am here - I’m off to bed xx
