my new friend:


well i found out today that wooly bears like to cross streets without apparent regard to who or what may come down the road that’s larger and not so observant. last year’s wooly was doing the same thing so i placed it off the road. today’s was moving fairly swiftly so i just watched it get to the other side…

Squirrels also dont look left or right, i drove through the countryside recently and I had to break quite harshly to stop opening a new ledger in my mental driving notes named "kill count". But the flufflys are worth the cost in rubber to keep them alive ^^

I've never seen a wooly bear. Looks really cool and fuzzy lol. Love the photos though on this thread.

I remember seeing a grasshopper land on the edge of a bucket filled with water in our backyard. The grasshopper slowly went into the water and was just gliding afloat on the water for a good fifteen minutes. It was really hot that day btw. After fifteen minutes or so, it slowly got out of the water and just jumped out of the bucket. I guess it went for a swim lol.

I'm on holiday in Greece at the moment and have made a friend too. She hangs out at our hotel along with her brothers and sisters. She's so sweet, comes and sits on my lap at breakfast. I'm trying to persuade Nick to let us take her home but I'm not winning.
