I have no problem with your first riddle, and my problem with your 2nd riddle is a different story, but your 3rd riddle references obscure american names and quantum theory that contradicts the base idea of quantum mechanics, that (at least on a small scale) there is no such thing as a set reality, that all things are just probabilities, which is why an electron (a particle) acts as a wave in the famous double spit experiment, (This isnt a criticism of the theory, quantum mechanics seems to contradict itself all the time) and the 4th riddle references your own personal feelings on laundry.
Although I have to thank you, trying to look up the theory you mentioned lead me to a SERIOUSLY interesting article on the the lack of the a single measurable objective reality. (bookmarked for later)

OH BLOODY HELL!! I just read the start of that article i found! objective reality apparently doesn't exist at all even on large scale! its ALL probability ^^ and its been experimentally shown ^^ WE DONT EXIST ^^

My brain just can't do questions right now. Though I would say you could be a gamer if you play mobile games. I play games, but I would not call myself a gamer. My games are um ... old or weird HA. On that note, back to my game the minions are calling.

Today I've prepared: riddles.
Riddle one: I pierce, yet show. I detect and burn. I grant vision and entertain. What am I?
Riddle two: I am inside of you, yet you can spend time in me. I can be used to track data and when I wake up I'm dangerous. What am I?
Riddle three: I'm a figment of imagination, created by ignorance. I'm a friend of the house and many men call themselves by my name. What am I?
Riddle four: I'm worthless, I'm annoying, no one likes detecting my presence. When I get washed I disappear. I'm about to get set alight and thrown out of the window. What am I?
To Americans, and the like, this thread will be prematurely posted. But it ain't called UTC for nothing, fellas.

Q1: If you could change the year you were born, when would you choose to be born? at a much earlier time when it would be ok to be naked and with few people around who might be likely to hunt me down and have a mate to live with finding our own food and living as long as we could. not really sure what year that would be though.
Q2: If you could choose to never have been born at all, would you? i believe i already had that choice and did not choose it.
Q3: Do you eat many small meals or few large meals (you're free to make a joke about how you eat many large meals). my breakfast is not large in most cases. my lunch is not so large either and my dinner is what i consider dinner size which is larger than most either breakfast or lunch but not necessarily large as in what i think is the implied very large i’m perceiving in the question. anyway i do feel i often over eat and am both happified by it and uncomfortable by it too. then there are the snacks. are snacks considered meals?

How? i’m thinking that unanticipated events are coming at me constantly. i think the few that i may be able to anticipate are somehow in accord with me getting both worse and better. but to explain this - it would take many many pages.

Q6: How far would you go to get recognized officially as the gamer that you are? this makes me think i don’t actually know what being a gamer really is. maybe that indicates that i have not gone very far at all in getting recognized as such.

A good riddle doesnt use word play or rely on obscure knowledge, but takes advantage of the way a person thinks and exploit blind spots on common thinking.
Riddle me this (this isnt my riddle, but a favourite from my childhood):
There are 3 figures climbing up a hill, the 2nd figure is the son of the 1st, the 3rd is the brother of the 2nd, but the 1st ISNT the father of the 3rd, how is this possible?
Btw, I think my riddles were good this time around and I put a good amount of effort into them. Others also liked the riddles. If I were to post riddles such as your alcohol or mother riddle that get solved in a matter of minutes at most the first poster would get all of them right and the thread is over.
Yea, I know they are easy, but they are from my childhood, so they are going to be easy, I just think they are really good riddles, they each have 1 perfect answer and no other possible answers, and rely on no obscure knowledge or research.
I understand the impulse to make harder riddles, I mean thats the point, but riddle number 3 and 4 were impossible for me, I didnt have the requisite knowledge, I could be a world renowned genius and have 10,000 years and wouldn't have got it without more background research I didnt even know I needed.

If you make a riddle about a solider in some war managing to shoot an enemy soldier on the other side of a wall and the riddle asking how, the answer shouldnt be "historically in the war mentioned in this riddle soldiers on this side were issued XXX ammunition which has been rated for shooting through XXX thickness of sheet metal", the answer should be "he shot through a window".
