I know that I have read and seen in a number of places that Johnny Cash had an influence on rap that many would be surprised to learn and how many artist in rap are big fans of Cash or comments like Snoop Dogg saying Cash was a Gangsta and that other artists express similar comments.

So many rappers and fans alike who listen to nothing but hip hop rap love cash
Like crazy crazy love for cash.
You know he “built” music in a way that was felt and touched by so many that genre was not even an issue. That man deffo “sold his soul” (not really just an expression) he had “beats” rhythm and kept to the vibes. Ohhh KM we need a J cash hour on one of these threads hehe maybe I will pop over to the hiphop thread and drop a “cash beat” on them

311 is my top ever band . Oh I can think of countless others…too bad I wasn’t;t born in different times to experience the, like others have. Everyone will forever have their top great to their own personal decade they were born and raised thu.


Okay 311 for many reasons if you care to hear just say so other then that

Miss. Janet Joplin summertime is my ultimate track. It is also the last song I would want to hear before departing this place. The emotion and message she has is like non other.

Besides that bring it on! I love it all . Shoot half the day I usually listening to classical
I even enjoy operas

Anywho when it comes down to it!

I do also have another …Jimi…….his talent can not be compared! Don’t do it! It can’t

And let’s not bet into the discussion of post bon Scott AC/DC

hey sightseer, just listening to Hope Sandoval now and wondering since I don't think I'm familiar with her, has anyone ever noticed the similarity between her and Pink Floyd and Velvet Underground? and so nice she's from now. glad to hear... thanks😍

I really like jazzy star. It does sound like Pink Floyd and Velvet Underground it has a bit of psychedelic also.

Jimi is a favorite for me. One of my favorite songs from him. I think I like that it is less well known than Purple Haze, Little Wing, etc.
