Good morning/afternoon/evening dear SFers! *hiyaI hope you’re doing well today or even better, if not please come to Jim’s café for some comfort and support. :)

The bar is open non-stop and the bartender is at your service. We have everything you desire; all types of coffee and healthy juices…from simple booze to the most sophisticated drinks and cocktails, if you’re of legal age of course…but the most important thing, there’s this amazing covid extermination machine, no social distance needed, and hugs are not only allowed but encouraged. *grouphug2

Easter is knocking on the door according to the Gregorian calendar, if you use the Julian one you have to wait for another month. Do you celebrate it?
I’m curious, is painting or decorating eggs a thing in your country/culture? If you do it, please show us pictures.

View attachment 43943

Now here are some random questions for you. Don’t take them too seriously because it’s all just for FUN. If you don’t feel like answering you can always just drop by and hang around. *dance4

1. Is the glass half full or half empty?
2. Do you prefer quality or quantity?
3. Which one is more beautiful, sunrise or sunset?
4. Are you a conformist or a rebel?
5. Is it better to put money in savings or pay off debt?
6. What do you value more, freedom or money?
7. Is practice more important than theory?
8. What comes first, truth or loyalty?
9. Do you reed other member's answers in cafes?
10. Can you tag a few people, please?
Easter is celebreted by Christians in my country, though I've never seen anyone making decorated eggs nor bunnies.
Well, I'm not really fine at the moment with all the suicidal thoughts and stresses.

Is the glass half full or half empty? - I can't even see the glass.
Do you prefer quality or quantity? - Quality.
Which one is more beautiful, sunrise or sunset? - Sunrise.
Are you a conformist or a rebel? - Both at the same time.
Is it better to put money in savings or pay off debt?
- Leave about 10% in savings, 60-80% for daily life, and the rest to pay debt.

What do you value more, freedom or money? - Freedom
Is practice more important than theory? - You need both. Theory for direction and practice to make it real.
What comes first, truth or loyalty? - Truth.
Do you reed other member's answers in cafes? - I do, for reference.
Can you tag a few people, please?

I do celebrate Easter, and I haven't colored any eggs yet, but I'll upload pics if they look decent enough. lol

1. Is the glass half full or half empty? Neither I guess, it's just there. I'm a realist so I'll just drink the water. lol
2. Do you prefer quality or quantity? Quality for sure. That's always more important to me.
3. Which one is more beautiful, sunrise or sunset? They are both special in their own ways. But I love to see the colors at night.
4. Are you a conformist or a rebel? A little bit of both. I don't conform to everything but I'm not completely outside the box either.
5. Is it better to put money in savings or pay off debt? To pay off debt, then it doesn't pile up more.
6. What do you value more, freedom or money? Freedom because money can't buy that.
7. Is practice more important than theory? Yes, because then you know if something works or not.
8. What comes first, truth or loyalty? Truth because if I know someone is being honest wiht me, I can be loyal to them. If I know they're not, then I can't really trust them.
9. Do you reed other member's answers in cafes? Yes, I always enjoy reading them.
10. Can you tag a few people, please? I would but I don't know who is left to tag. lol

Since I now know how to, yes, that can be an issue since I check out who is following me/who I am following first and then wonder...who next to put on the list? :)

Thanks for the invitation, Inya *grouphug2

1. Depends on what's in the glass.

2. Quality. The original "Karate Kid" taught us that lesson.

3. Sunsets. We made it through another day. And we're still here.

4. Total rebel. Because I'd rather be alone than conform. "The Breakfast Club" taught us this lesson.

5. Pay off debt, then focus on saving.

6. Freedom. Money makes too many people do things they know they shouldn't do. The movie "Wall Street" taught us that lesson.

7. Yes it is.

8. Truth. Unconditional loyalty is DANGEROUS. Wednesday, January 6th, 2021 reminded the world of this.

9. Yes, because I'm interested in what my friends have to say.

Thank you @Inya for the invite to your lovely establishment, I think ill try an Old Fashioned please.

Easter is knocking on the door according to the Gregorian calendar, if you use the Julian one you have to wait for another month. Do you celebrate it?
I’m curious, is painting or decorating eggs a thing in your country/culture? If you do it, please show us pictures.
I do celebrate it, but its sort of tame this year, almost no eggs, everyone is on a diet anyway due to lockdown weight gain :P

1. Is the glass half full or half empty?
Oh DEFINITELY half empty, always has been always will be, but I have found curious ways to make it work for me.

2. Do you prefer quality or quantity?
Definitely quality, I used to go for quantity, but then I realised that the things with quality are the only ones you actually use. In any christmas for example there will be only 1 or 2 items you actually end up using regularly, THESE are the items worth receiving, the rest are just a show of giving and dont last long beyond the day itself.

3. Which one is more beautiful, sunrise or sunset?
They cant even be compared, they are both stunning in their own ways

A good sunset is a calm and glorious farewell, the reward at the end of a long day, the sky lit up with colour and a show to send you off. It is slightly sad as it represents an end, but it is also comforting and relaxing, it makes that goodnight a smooth and wonderful thing rather than a tired and cold thing.

A good sunrise is a birth, the coming of a new day, the emergence of a new beginning, it isnt as dramatic as a sunset (usually) but it is invigorating if you're up early enough to see one. It is hopeful and encouraging.

4. Are you a conformist or a rebel?
I have never been able to figure that out, in many ways I am a strict conformist, whilst in others I ignore or directly oppose rules and convention in that regard. I generally conform if I think it is a worthy rule to conform to or if I feel the consequences of not conforming would be too great, otherwise, Im going to do my own thing. Why be shackled by rules whose purpose is meaningless or even counterproductive to you?

5. Is it better to put money in savings or pay off debt?
I would say pay off debt to a certain extent, at the moment inflation is higher than bank interest so any money sitting as savings is slowly losing its value, at the same time any debt tends to add its own interest and become more valuable as time goes, the smart thing to do is use the money before it loses its value to pay off debts before they grow any bigger. I currently have no outstanding debts except student loans (which write themselves off when you turn 50 anyway so its really more of a fixed rate added tax than a debt)

6. What do you value more, freedom or money?
No contest, freedom. Money is a tool with no value until you use it, and all it is usually used for it to gain a little bit of freedom in the end anyway, so why not have freedom straight off? As long as you can get by and live freely I dont see any real reason to have more money than that except self-indulgence, but self indulgence at the cost of freedom seems stupid.

7. Is practice more important than theory?
Yes and no. No practice can happen without the theory, not safely or reliably anyway, but on the other hand theory isnt all that useful if never used. Knowledge is great and all, and can expand your horizons, but what is the point in figuring out how to do XYZ if you never actually DO?

Theory on its own is needed in order to support more and more theory, but in the end it is all just so we can create and live isnt it? If a whole new branch of theory is made and no practical effect ever comes from it in anyway, then why did we do it?

8. What comes first, truth or loyalty?
Im not sure I can agree with the question... why is it one or the other? I think loyalty should be a product of knowing the truth, at least to the best of your understanding. Why be loyal to something/someone which lies or is withholding? and why hold the truth back from someone loyal? Surely someone truly loyal is someone you can entrust the truth to.

Im going to have to go with Loyalty just because there are some truths which belong only to yourself, but still..

9. Do you reed other member's answers in cafes?
In other people's cafe's sometimes, in my own, I try to read them all when I get a chance. I figure asking questions is pointless if I dont even stick around for the answers, but I just sometimes wish I didnt ask SO MANY questions :P

10. Can you tag a few people, please?
Here are a few names I noticed werent there from my own list.
