Today is Remembrance Day in Canada and Veterans Day in the US.

The challenge for today is to name something that you are grateful for.

I am grateful that I live somewhere where mental health is understood.

Today is Remembrance Day in the UK also.

I am grateful for every member here who has reached out to someone else to support them, despite their own pain. Thank you to every one of you.

Food in the café today is a range of delicious crispy salads and piles of fruit. Since I have managed to gain 3lbs in the past five days away - gah.

Salad with a lot protein for me, little dressing goes longways for me! I'm back to trying to control what I eat carbwise. Sleepeating just kills me.

Have a good day folks! And happy my grandfather a US World War II veteran is coming home today on Vets day! Perfect. I have stayed up washing his bed.

Good morning!

@Freya - thank you! I have been craving salads and fruit! :)

I think the poppy is the symbol used in both Canada and UK for Remembrance Day...

I am grateful for many things - living in a country that is peaceful; having food, shelter, clothes; friends and family; my cat; the natural world...

Thanks for opening up shop! Are there strawberries? Those are my favorite.

I'm grateful for having one person in my life who genuinely cares about me.

I'm grateful for still having things in my life I can enjoy. Otherwise I would not still be here.

I'm grateful to have friends - both here and irl - and family who would notice if I wasn't around. The GP yesterday said that she was worried that I lived alone and something could happen to me and no one would know. While it may take 24 hours for someone to notice I wasn't around I have people who check up on me. Makes it difficult to be suicidal.
Even the pdoc was pleased with me today and gave me more time between visits because he wasn't as worried about me.

Good night my friends. Again today I made myself get up and go out. I took time to remember what people fought for, and I am grateful today for my friends.
