Hello Café peeps. It is snowing here today.

I have made coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

@na-taya @Petal will be making the food

The challenge for today is to share a winter memory.

Mine is sledding in the snow.

In the kitchen with @Petal is gonna be lots of fun....what me gonna make lynnie?!?! I'm not up to choices today.


Today's first day of step up step down 28day program for mh or a sub accute service they called it i think. it's been a mess I am a mess and still talk of hospital......sigh......I am doing my best but guess its not enough.

I hope all of you have a nice day and if not just have a day and be don't push yaself to hard or be to hard on yaselfnif struggling....gee should listen to my own advice maybe....

A winter memory???
The one memory that comes to mind is when I was young, maybe 10? in school, it snowed, in the playground we pushed the snow into a pile and made it with our feet into little ice 'hills' of sorts that we'd slide over.

That one time when I was little and we went for a drive to see the snow as it rare and got a snowball to the face...

Salmon and red onion with butternut squash on toasted Irish soda bread.

Chicken wings and pigs in a blanket with vegetable samosas.

BBQ Spare ribs with skinny oriental noodles

Drinks, maxwell coffee, almond milk and earl grey tea

Winter memory...? Hmmm. Lots of those. OK, going back forty or more years, I remember skating across the lake (small lake) to an island and back with family (mom, dad, sister, gran and grandfather).

Today should be a boring but okay day. I have classes, homework, gotta update my info with my health insurance if I have time, and maybe I'll get to watch a hockey game tonight.
My (probably) winter memory: I think it was winter when my dad took me to my first Washington Capitals game in D.C. So far it's the only Caps home game I went to. (I've been to 2 away games in San Jose, and was almost lucky enough to get to one here in Pittsburgh.) I've definitely been to minor league hockey games in the winter. And once I got to go to I think it was an All-Star Game for the American Hockey League. NHL would have been cooler, but I still had a great time.

One of the winter memory is ice fishing on Lake Huron, driving the van on the ice when I was a kid terrified that the Van would break the ice after a while (felt like forever) we saw a lot cars and then went into uncles ice shack and the water was so crystal clear after the hole was made I was amazed I could see the bottom of the lake the sand each grain was visible and the schools of perch. It was only like 5 feet deep. I kept looking into the hole looking for the monster fish and never saw any by the time we went home. I still cant remember if I caught anything or was too busy staring at the other world down below.

Hey all

I am having a really good chilled out day today which is good, catching up with some people on the suicide forum and recover your life, my phone is upstairs, i am not too bothered about that and I have done the dishwasher and made some soaps with help of my occupational therapist and a student. Not looking forward to seeing J this week, wondering if she is gonna mess me around again.

My winter memory

Was last year and i was chilling at home with lovely family and drinking endless cups of tea and getting very drunk on prosecco it was pure bliss, i had already had my 4th week at work and was looking forward to starting another week at pinny.

That reminds me I must give that Simon a call and badger him about the vacancy I applied for on the system.

A winter memory, well sledding was always fun. Today is ok so far, I just hope it will stay that way.

Very heavy snow back in 1995 (I think). I've never really experienced anything like it since.
