Jim was a member here and staff member, sadly he passed away a few years back. He started the cafe everyday so in his memory we keep it going every day. R.I.P Jim.

@Ravi Yes he was very, very special and he was even met in real life by other members who lived near him. He was special, an inspiration, a great guy all round and very special to all of us here, he contributed his wisdom, great sense of humour and his gentle approach of support, he won't be forgotten. A true gentleman. I miss him just fyi...he died of natural causes (in case you were wondering due to the nature of this site).

@JDot Considering it's pancake day tomorrow I will treat myself to one and will have an excuse not to have any tomorrow as already had but not too much syrup. @Petal wow such a good idea to keep the cafe open in his memory on here.
