Wow, it's been busy in Jim's Café today!

I was up and out early this a.m. and not back unti around 3:15. Long day, but nice overall.

Trying to figure out dinner for tonight and a vegetarian dinner (for tomorrow) that is easy and quick. I can do pasta tonight and maybe a cheese omelette with veggies and nice bread tomorrow...

Not much new here. I spent half my day in the park with the birds, squirrels and chipmunks again! I love feeding them all. They are so sweet! :) I got to watch a chipmunk stuff his face until he looked like this:

How could I "not" love them? :)

Happy Sunday night everyone!

Alright. It's been a shit day. Won't go into detail but basically been doing the whole sob sob thing. Anyway, I will push past it and serve you all lovely coffees that I may just buy-- i mean make. @Greying as soon as I figure out what that is you can get it. Hope everyone is having a nice day. Back to my report.

Take care

hi everybody,

time change was today and I am all thrown off by that as usual with mind saying it should be one time and clocks saying another. doing okay aside from that. work tomorrow and then a couple days off.

Took the bus out to the "Pub Chip Shop". I'd walked by there before but never went inside. They serve all manner of British specialties etc. I got the fish and chips which were good but way hot and burned my mouth. Sometime I'm gonna go back and try a scotch egg because I've always been curious about those. Might have to try one of their meat pies too. After that meal I walked maybe about 4 miles, first to the bridge that I took when I was heading over to my friend's house for my first rugby party, then I walked along the bike trail all the way downtown. Downtown is where one of the locations of the milkshake shop I love is, so I went there and got the least fattening "milkshake" on the menu (I put it in quotes because it probably isn't technically a milkshake) , lemon berry made with lemon sorbet and raspberry syrup. It was good, even without actual ice cream. Now I have returned from my adventure.
Ooh! That all sounds delicious.

Just wanted to pop in saying this is a really neat feature. Lasagna sounds good! Could really do with a few hugs right now, today (it's morning!) totally started off on the wrong foot. :(
