Chicago has something to be proud of. Maybe some of us will be sleeping in after all night celebration of a 108 years drought that was riddled with superstition and curses. Go Cubs Go!

I am fortunate to have a 91 year old grandfather alive to witness this piece of history of Baseball.

My mood was really charged by this game. Battling the vertigo isn't fun for me I do hope it goes away. So be safe out there Chicago.

For the breakfast bar it'll be red white and blue theme of anything with edible Cubs logo. Enjoy.

Update: everyone has stayed up celebrating.

For me: a doctors visit is in order if I continue to have vertigo and nausea

@DrownedFishOnFire I hope your symptoms ease soon and that you get on the correct medication. Hope you begin to feel a bit better soon.

I am going to do 30 minutes of exercise today/shower/laundry/clean, nothing exciting. Might go into the city for a short while and pick up some christmas gifts and have a look around the charity shops, there's no point in buying new clothes if I am losing weight.

I hope you all have a wonderful fun filled day.

Good morning! @DrownedFishOnFire Thank you for the red, white, and blue Cubs breakfast. I've never eaten hard-boiled baseballs before! Or deep fried home plate. :p lol

Today I'm starting to take down my balcony stuff for the winter. It rained last night, so I need to let the "fake flowers" dry out first. When they are dry, I'll replace them with fake fir boughs in the planters. Maybe get some mini-lights on batteries for Christmas time. :)

Wishing everyone a lovely Thursday! :)

I have only an evening class today. Plus I'm meeting with my professor. I think today we'll be discussing my future job options with a bachelor's in psychology that I can do while I save up money to go to grad school.

I feel really whiny complaining about this, but my neck is sore. We did this one drill yesterday where we had to tuck our head under the other person's shoulder and push (I'm not describing this well), and that hurt, so it was probably caused by either that or being tackled, because this tackle was way rougher than the first time.

Tuesday I'm seeing my advisor and he will help me figure out what classes to sign up for. As long as I can get the library to temporarily remove my hold because of the fine.

A friend told me such hurtful things, I don't think I can forgive him this time. All because I didn't want to change to suit him. Now I am hurting really badly. I will just focus on my work today and try not to think about it.

Came back from the ER. Few hours later the vertigo is back with vengeance. But the nausea is gone. Can eat. The bloodwork showed elevated WBC at 16.5 while everything else was fine the doc wanted me to do another test within a week. Chicago is still going 100mph on the win in the news and fans all around being happy!
