Good day to everyone! Sipping on my coffee and not quite awake yet. Somehow slept quite late today. Need to get moving so I can get to an appointment at 11 a.m.

Thanks for the sandwich bar, @Rockclimbinggirl. I've never tried sardine and peanut butter sandwiches before! *eeek*

Looks like foggy day outside today. I'm meeting my mom and her husband at husband's nursing home for a snack this afternoon. She made pumpkin pie.

Hey everyone,.......sardines....my old Scottish Dad used to mash them up on toast and grill them in the over.......yeh.....I never really liked them and haven't heard of that method anywhere else, it must've been Dads own recipe'

Went to the Center for Student Success to see about withdrawing from my class that's screwing me over. They recommended I talk to the professor and see if he thinks I could still pull out a good grade. I was going to do that before class today then go to practice if he agreed that I should withdraw. But he didn't show up in time for me to talk to him before class started so I can't go to practice either way. I think we probably have a meeting tonight so I'll still get to see my friends. I got to see the one i'm going to talk to soon, but he was busy. I told him I wasn't doing too well so he knows that things are pretty bad, but I want to say more. I'll probably talk to the captain too-- I had to text him to tell him first that I'd probably be late to practice if I could come, and later that I couldn't come at all. He's really understanding because school comes first. I wanted to text him last night about how bad I was feeling but didn't wanna bother him.

Today I paid off some of the rent and bought all of my own things. I am financially independent and I feel proud of myself. I can successfully adult now, lol.

I talked to my professor during the mid-class break. He was really understanding. When I told him that I just hadn't had the motivation to do my work, he asked me if I was depressed. I told him that I was (and reassured him I was seeing the counselor.) He advised me not to withdraw from the class and that we would meet up and he'd help me figure out a way I could make up my work and bring up my grade. I should feel great, but I kind of don't.
