Happy Humpday!

Because it's Humpday, the Café is doing camels and camels mean deserts and oases.

Let's eat and drink and dress accordingly. Park your camels in the shade and come on in!

@Petal, I haven't seen you around lately, so would love it if you could drop by and offer some decorating tips please.

Apart from enjoying Jim's Café Oasis, I need to kick my rear in gear and do some things at home today. My goal is cross a few chores off the list.

Today's been tiring. Was last official day of work! Tomorrow really is, but not sure if I'm going to go in. I sent my therapist a link to something I wrote here. I don't think he saw what I wrote, but he saw the site. Whatever. Wanted him to see what I wrote.... and it is disappointing that he didn't. Other than that, the sun came out and this oasis looks yum.

1. I have supportive co-workers
2. I have an amazing friend who knows me and accepts me just as I am
3. I have a roof over my head
4. I have food in my fridge
5. I have a 2 beautiful nieces who brighten my day every time I see them
6. I am relatively healthy
7. I have 2 weeks of vacation coming up
8. I can support myself financially
9. SF
10. The amazing friends I have met here.

My 10 things that I'm grateful for
1)that I found God
2)I found SF &have good friends like you guys
3)I got help from a good onlin frind who help me beyond my imagination
4)I'm so thankful that I didn't lose hope
5)that my grandfather is still alive and relatively well and have his own home that I will go to stay in
6) i found an online therapist who understand Narcissistic abuse
7)I don't look like a 43 years old women l look like 35 or something
8)I'm kind of smart and I can be a fighter
9)I am a survivor for sure
10) I have a peigon couple who are nesting cross my window for the past 5 years and I watch them lays their eegs time aftrr time and take care of their babies and I'm so blessed to see this

It was mid-evening for me...

1. wild rabbits (6 of them!)
2. seniors out walking together
3. handsome young lads playing baseball
4. weird cloud formations in the sky (all swirly and wavy)
5. people out walking their dog
6. the first few splatters of rain drops just before I got home
7. a squirrel running into the garden for shelter
8. several sparrows and robins eating
9. about 8 large geese at the edge of the field
and 10. I enjoyed listening to the "paaa" of a tennis game

Time for this nomad to check her camel and hit the tent. Have a good evening everyone!

Adding to my list, today I also saw

- a woodpecker up close, just two feet in front of me!
- a blue jay pulling a worm out of the ground
- the clouds all fluffy in the sky as I lay on my back in the grass
- butterflies dancing in the cool air
- the rain now softly tapping the leaves
- squirrels jumping through the trees

And I'm grateful for

- friendship
- family
- finally feeling like I'm healing
- plants and their powers
- delicious food made by a good friend
- chocolate
- my bed
- SF and all of my friends here of course
- having a room again for the first time in 3 years
- my precious kitty being in my life again
