Good day Café peeps. We are opening later today since I had a midterm to write this morning :mad:

I hope you are all having a good day.

French toast will be served for breakfast today :)

@Petal and @AlexiMarie7 and @calvinandhobbs will be making some more food (not dessert) :p

@cgh0991 @DrownedFishOnFire @Butterfly will be on clean up duty

Name a scent or a sound that you enjoy :)

I love the smell of mint. A sound that I like is soothing lullaby music.

I love petrichor--the smell of rain on dry earth. Actually I also love the sound of heavy rain (and thunder). Basically, I love rain!

Since I didn't respond yesterday, I guess I can put my 'signature dish' on the menu for lunch today: scalloped potatoes--though I haven't yet made a healthy/light/vegan version of it as yet

Hope your midterm went well.

Its almost Thursday for me now, I havnt had a bad night had visitors so that helps a lot

My fav thing to smell in frangipanis but on the tree they don't seem to smell the same to me once they are picked.

Having a really crap day OT cancelled today as she had another meeting with someone and just say I ain't pleased as a lot of people in my life are constantly letting me down or not bothering turning up and i am furious

I am heavily armed with a vac and a blower combo



that's for the cleanup duty I'm assigned to. BS is automatically sucked in for us to enjoy our day!

Good afternoon, Café folks! @Rockclimbinggirl - hmmmm, quite the question today! I love the smell of a thunderstorm - I gather it's the smell of ozone after a bolt of lightning. :) And for a sound, I actually like the rumble of thunder, too! I also love pine needle scent, trumpet music, the rustle of leaves in the fall. :)

Have had a busy week - condo annual general meeting, volunteer committee meetings this week. So far so good. :)

Hmmm a scent that I enjoy. I like natural scents I guess - I am not a fan of perfume; it gives me a headache. My house smells of vanilla and raspberry - lots of candles of those scents around my house and my bath stuff is vanilla and raspberry also, so that is mostly what I smell of. I also really love the smell of tee tree oil.

Hope everyone is having a stupendous day! I have put out some late night snacks of chocolate brownies - served hot with fudge sauce and ice cream. If I can't be thin, I will just make everyone else fat :D

Hiya folks!!! Yes, I'm slow today. Had two meetings that ate up 7hrs of my day just in meeting times. That didn't include travel and wait times. It was soooooo EXHAUSTING but it went well!!

My favorite smell is a toss up between musk and cinnamon spice. Either of them are calming and soothing to me. As far as sounds I'd have to say children laughing and my dogs going crazy (in a fun way) bark.
