Good morning! Tea and coffee are on the counter; please help yourselves.

Breakfast Choices:

orange or cranberry juice, iced water, milk, soy milk, almond milk
whole grain breads
cream cheese, butter, cottage cheese
wild blueberry jam, grape jelly, crab apple jelly
crispy rice cereal (with milk, soy milk, almond milk)
crepes with sliced fresh fruit and vanilla Greek yogurt
Please wash your own dishes today. @Brian777 has been on dish duty a lot and I'm sure he would appreciate the break!

@DrownedFishOnFire and @baywasp, I think you're on the roster for prep and clean up tomorrow. Please check with @Freya.

Thinking ahead...@Witty_Sarcasm and @Petal, how about Sunday Brunch this wee?k? If you plan together, it might be fun! Nothing too fancy - an ice sculpture with a fountain, salmon mousse, quail egg quiche, and baked Alaska? @Rockclimbinggirl might be able to lend a hand too! :)

My plans for today are low key but essential: buy cat food! Shadow looked worried when I opened the cupboard today and there were only two cans left. I also want to buy a short stubby screwdriver, go for a walk in the park, and have a good dinner tonight, not just (healthy) "leftover scraps".

Happy day to you all! :)

I worked on getting my financial aid refund check sent to the right address because they sent it to San Francisco since I wasn't able to change my address until recently. Also talked to the library about my $153 fine from the books I lost while homeless. They removed all the extra fees and also told me they'd try to temporarily remove the hold from my account if it came time to sign up for classes and I hadn't been able to pay the fine yet. I didn't even have to play the homeless card.

I had a boring class of political science where we talked about very simple economics, just stuff I learned in the first chapter of my high school Advanced Placement Microeconomics. Right before the class I noticed a text from the rugby captain. He was just checking on me, which was nice and made me feel cared about. I told him the truth, that I wasn't doing too well and that I wanted to die. He was telling me how much I mean to some of the guys on the team and how upset they'd be if I died. Many of the things he said made me feel a lot better (even though I almost never text in class and felt bad doing that.) He's such a good friend, and I don't know if I expected to meet someone like that when I joined the team.

I have my stupid technology class, then practice, then my math. I was supposed to get a calculator since I lost my old one, but I forgot until now and don't really have time.

LOL Great selection but I had poached eggs on brown bred with beans, a slice of soda bread with jam (my only naughty treat in 2 weeks lol )

Having a fantastic day today, got my hair done, got something done that I won't post about on the forums but very proud of myself, went to Slimming World and lost 2lbs this week. YAY!! Thats 6.5lbs in 2 weeks. I feel great. I hope this feeling lasts for as long as possible.

Hope you all have a marvellous day and please be grateful for what you have, you never know when you will lose it (hugs)

I can help with brunch. Might take a while to make all of that, though. lol

My boss told me I am doing really well, so that gave me the confidence boost I needed to continue doing the best I can.

Just wanna say what happened at practice. We did some normal drills including a 3-on-2 drill (3 attackers and 2 defenders). I was always on offense because I can't tackle too well. But anyway, I was about to get tackled, so I wildly threw the ball to a teammate, who caught it and went on to score (IIRC). I don't know if it was a good move or a lucky move, but people were telling me I did a good job. Then we played a little touch rugby and the captain made sure the ball got to me a couple of times throughout the game, plus I made two "tackles". (There were also a bunch I missed because I'm too slow, but I did better at being involved than the last time at least). I even got a better understanding of one of the defensive concepts that was confusing me for a long time. I had fun even though it was very cold and I still have no idea where I'm supposed be half the time. My side won; I had to leave a little early for class, but all I missed was the awful running drill at the end.
