I'm gonna go with my favorite funny scene from a book... that is the Clevinger's Trial section of Catch-22. It takes place in chapter 8. Later, the author, Joseph Heller, adapted it into a short play, which I haven't seen. The videos I've found of the scene seem to be mostly school products from what I can gather. I'm too lazy to dig through everything. But here's a link to someone else's adaptation of it into a script. http://www.oocities.org/stuartthiel/clevingerscript.html It's ridiculous and sardonic. I find it hilarious.

I looked on Youtube and found a portion of the book containing the trial scene being read aloud by the author. His voice annoys me and doesn't do the scene justice. I was thinking of sharing it but decided not to.
The whole book is pretty funny but dark. If you know anything about Catch-22 and have looked at my profile recently, you'll recognize my pseudonym :) I'd recommend reading the book, but it takes a little time and patience. It's fairly long and told in non-linear time. I really started to put the pieces together of what happens on my second readthrough, but I can still find things to appreciate and make connections after reading it at least 10 more times.
