Hey, who let Matt in here? Oh well, let's do this.
Today is Holistic Therapy Day. What do you think of this? Holistic therapy, not having a holiday for it.
National Bagelfest. Now there's something I can get behind. What do you want on yours?
National Coffee Milkshake Day. How do you feel about that? Milkshake is great but don't want it to be coffee? Coffee should always be hot? What gives?
National Dog Photography Day. Oh yeah, people, here's your chance to show off those dog photos!!
World Tofu Day. wow Okay, what say you on tofu? Love it, hate it? How do you want to eat it?

Challenge! Tag a friend that you don't think has ever been to the cafe!

Got to disagree with you on this one, I could drink coffee milkshake ALLLLLL day especially when it’s sunny!
I agree completely - I'll drink it with cream, with sugar, with both, with neither. Hot, cold, iced or whatever. Anything except "supposed to be hot and now it's gone cold" which is.. yuck I'd 100% have coffee milkshake as well.

erm no thanks, NEVER again!
I'm with you on this also. It's not my thing. Something about the texture put me off. I'm weird though.

Holistic therapy
It's all crap, don't do it! Lol

I guess with any form of treatment the main issues are costs, benefits, and side-effects. This can make any treatment, "holistic" or conventional a good or bad fit for a patient.

It's best if a treatment is supported by evidence, but there are complications, because medicine is a big business. Big companies are able to manipulate policy and research in their favor, opioids and the opioid crisis being the most extreme example.

People often seem to fall into polarized camps about holistic/alt vs conventional, but a more case-by-case and open minded approach is better, imho.
National Dog Photography Day
I love dogs :)
I don't think tofu is a good food for most people. I would definitely at least bake the hell out of it before eating any.

@Walker, you’re cruel! (Though I’m sure you didn’t intend to be!) My favourite bagel is a toasted plain or sesame with too much butter (or margarine) and lots of cream cheese. It should “drip” as you bite into it. However, I haven’t had that kind of bagel in more than 20 years. (It’s similar to my favourite croissant. Super flaky and buttery, with more unsalted butter on it. Maybe some raspberry jam, as well, or maybe European tart cherry or plum jam. (Again, I haven’t had one of those in 20 years.)

@black orchid — how wonderful! National Coffee Milkshake Day! I want one!

Ooops, missed…

Holistic Therapy Day...all good therapies should be holistic: body, mind and soul.
National Dog Photography Day & National Tofu Day…I’m doing these together, because my dog picture is of my vegan niece and her husband’s dog, at their wedding. The dog was not vegan, btw.

Tofu can be delicious, if it is marinated properly. and browned like this. I like extra-firm tofu because it doesn't have much texture. You can also cook soft tofu like scrambled eggs, with tamari.

The soybean is actually the most perfect protein for the human body, beating out eggs and meat. I want to do more research to find out how tofu is processed and if it retains its perfect balance of amino acids (the components of protein)
