Hey everyone ^_^

I love looking at the stars! My favourite constellation is the big dipper. It was the first constellation I learnt and I have fond memories of our caravan holidays with my family. I loved looking up at the clear sky trying to spot the giant "saucepan" as we called it lol

I can only recognize Orion’s Belt. Not very good with constellations.

I'm not too good with constellations either. I only know 3 lol I can find The Big Dipper, Orion and his belt and Ursa Major :D

I agree, looking at the stars can be very peaceful. I quite often sit outside and just gaze at the stars ^_^
Wow. You really know where the rest of Orion is? That's amazing.

When it's winter, it doesn't stop me at all from going outside. I just go out and freeze and be aesthetic af. My freezing toes hate me for it though.

I love stargazing, it relaxes me so much. My favorite is Orion’s Belt because it reminds me of my best friend who passed away. She always pointed it out even though she knew that I was familiar with it because of her always pointing it out! I sure do miss her and every time I see it I hope she’s looking down at me. I love and miss you so much Dian!

Hi all,
My favorire constellation is Ursa Major. I also learned about this one first, in DK Encyclopedia. There is also Ursa Minor, I remember.

Ursa Major
I love looking at the sky. I know of today's kids that can name some of the stars, but I can't. Haha. But I love the sky, stars, moon and occasionally stare at them from the balcony. There is so much to learn !

Once you know how to find Orion's Belt, it's fairly easy to see the rest of him if you look at a picture ^_^ Have a try next time you find the belt?

I think the crisp, clear skies in winter are one of the best times to see the stars. My toes certainly don't agree either though! lol

Hey, how are you?

Today's theme is "stars in the sky".

Feel free to post anything related to stars in the sky or literally anything you wanna post!
Hey Karlos I particularly love it when Venus and Mars romance each other by the light of Earth's moon while all the stars of the universe smile upon them. Makes a person of that universe capture a little extra hope and joy. So thanks so much for the theme as belatedly as it may be and thanks @pooky for getting me here.

Maybe I'll try it tonight. It would actually be cool to know mores about the stars. :P Gonna have to bundle up though.

My landlord is gonna start thinking I'm such a freak if he figures out I just sit on our steps/sidewalk looking at the sky during weird times of the night.
