CATS - the musical movie, the recent one; the big hits were good, costumes and make up were good; I liked the live show better

I wouldn’t. I would go to Lip Sync night instead. (No one wants me to sing for real. Just trust me on that.)

Do you like or dislike surprises? Why or why not?
Depends on the surprises.

Several, and not telling any of them.

What is the best gift you have been given? What is the worst gift you have received?
Hard for me to call a gift “best” or ”worst” because the people who give me gifts are giving from their hearts, so they are all great gifts! I just had a lovely gift of attending a concert with a friend.

Can’t we have some of both? With intelligence, I can make the most of my looks, I suppose. *

What would you sing at Karaoke night? I have sung Don't stop believing by Journey and Stan by Eminem at karaoke before but if i had a choice

Do you like or dislike surprises? Why or why not? It depends on what it is. I don't think I could deal with a surprise birthday party like that would happen

Have you ever had a nickname? What is it? People usually refer to me by the surname, or a shortened version of it... So sometimes the only people who refer to me by my actual name are my parents and work colleagues...

What is the best gift you have been given? The gift of my daughter being born.

but then i see my favorite Maroon5 song and Jungle Love. Delighted to hear them both after such a long time. Who is your hero? i do not have a hero. of course there are those i look up to throughout history who did amazing important things but i don’t percieve them as heros. there was certainly no one close to me who would qualify.

What was the last movie you went to? What did you think? How about a movie that came to me? just watched on TV. Misery. I can’t get over how effective kathy bates handled that role in an otherwise very defective movie. i never read the story but wonder if it was as full of holes as the movie. the movie was only scary because of her skills.

What would you sing at Karaoke night? would absolutely not sing, lip sync or anything else

Do you like or dislike surprises? Why or why not? hmm, i really love good surprises but hate bad ones. then at times good ones might scare me and that becomes a problem

Have you ever had a nickname? What is it? nicknames in my life are a major contributer to my mental illness/disorders/fears etc. would not dare tell anyone who does not already know.

What is the best gift you have been given? Stilton Blue Cheese

What is the worst gift you have received? put those out of my mind but one i remember from when i was about 10 which was a blue and plaid dress shirt and matching bowtie. absolutely hated it.

well it depends from who. I have troubles with surprises because I often do not trust people but with the people I do trust I kind of like it.
I like making surprises for people because it excites me and I’m eager to invest and to see their response ... Though I’m pretty bad At keeping it a secret

A necklace with a snowflake I got for my 16th birthday from my mom and grandma

Hey all!
I don’t really have a hero.

The last movie I actually went out to was Isle of Dogs when it came out a few years ago. I loved it. I’m a big fan of Wes Anderson films.

I’d maybe sing an Elliott Smith song if I did karaoke because they tend to suit my voice.

Surprises can be fun.

My roommate and some other people sometimes call me a shortened version of my first name but I’ve always wanted an interesting nickname.

The best gift was probably my first guitar when I was like 12.

Can’t think of any particularly bad gifts I’ve received.

I’d trade looks for intelligence even though I’m already not great looking and decently smart. I feel like I have to be smart to have value.

What's your favourite drink? Either a cold beer, or an energy drink.

If you had all the money you could possibly need/want, what would you do with it? Live a carefree dream.

What would be your ideal way to spend the weekend? At home, but would prefer a friend with me and some drinks, I guess. Could watch a movie or something.

What's the luckiest thing that's ever happened to you, or recently? Oh jeez...I thought about it for about a minute, and have nothing.

What are you looking forward to most in the coming months? Some new video games, I guess...such as, Crusader Kings 3 and Baldur's Gate 3. More so though, I'd look forward to some personal progress already...

What is a date that holds significance for you, and why? My birthday kind of does...since it's a reminder of how old I am, where I am, and where I - compared to peers - "should be"...that and, I made it my deadline once, lol. Aka "do this or kill self lol". Yup.

Nope! got neither.

How did you come up with your username for SF?
for the extraterrestrial part i really am from another planet or at least not of this earth or something like that or i dont’ know. then “extraterrestrial” overlaps with “alone”. people think it is ending with “one” but its really “alone” because even with people around i am alone. very alone.

What's your favourite drink?
porter, stout, certain beers, seltzer, pomegranate juice, pinot noir, chianti, cabernet sauvignon, earl grey tea, japanese green tea, darjeeling tea, russian caravan tea, water, all just about equal so i can’t really place one over another.

If you had all the money you could possibly need/want, what would you do with it?
buy myself some decent healthcare first of all so i’d be better equipped to handle the following: establish an organization to rework society to one that is actally compassionate, caring and proactive and puts in real and good effort in heading off social injustice, mental illness and disorders, end the revenge punishment system that we live under that really holds us back in the dark ages. and work alongside other great organizations that are trying to save the planet from destruction.

What would be your ideal way to spend the weekend?
just spend it having fun if i can ever figure out what fun is.

What's the luckiest thing that's ever happened to you, or recently?
i am pretty sure i have been having “luck” but i am assuming that you mean good luck. lately my “good” luck has been kind of tentative and being so emotionally drained lately i’m having trouble remembering some... ah ha, i just remembered one thing that happened a long long time ago. when leaving kansas city many years ago i left my favorite umbrella leaning on an outside wall of one of the terminal buildings. i didn’t even think of it until my aunt and uncle were driving me down the coast in california. i called the airport/airline (in the day when phones were just phones) and the next day my umbrella was delivered to me. kindness? yes, effort? yes. but no one stole it. someone turned it in and it made its way back to me. must have been some good luck in there too.

What are you looking forward to most in the coming months?
a nearly magical turnaround of my situation so that i once again can be proactive and simultaneously not dissociated and can start/resume achieving the positive things i mentioned above.

What is a date that holds significance for you, and why?
the birthday of a certain pet long ago who holds significant spiritual qualities.

Who is your hero? There's a lot of people I admire throughout history, some friends and family members. Can't say I have one hero though.

What was the last movie you went to? What did you think? The Gentleman best movie I seen in a while.

What would you sing at Karaoke night? Would not if I could sing it would be a thrash metal scream song, cause why not i'm going for it.

Oh wow... I think it was Downton Abbey and it was GREAT.

I did once - it was Bring me to life by Evanescence. I'd never do Karaoke again I think, I have no idea how I managed to do that one.

I like good surprises. Why not if they're thoughtful and fun.

Yes. My whole family called me "booba" as a kid because it was written all over some baby clothe I used to wear. My grandma on my dad's side is the only person still allowed to say that at times. lol I made everyone stop in my teens.

What is the best gift you have been given?
My guitar and amp.

What is the worst gift you have received?
Hmm perhaps these decorative "cactus lights" from a friend that are not necessarily in my taste. 2 Oh, I also got plenty of bath products once, but I don't own a bath so that was a bit useless. I appreciate the thoughts.

Looks for intelligence, although being very pretty according to social standards and dumb sounds like an easy way to have a very happy life, so it's not a bad idea after all. If I were smart, that's what I'd choose. lol
