Cafe is over here getting dusty folks!

We need some openers. Can anyone commit (commit / semi commit, of course) to opening the cafe on a day of the week? Every Sunday? You're free every Tuesday and feel like you can open a cafe? Let me know (here or by PM) if this interests you.

In other news, the weather is turning colder which I, for one, am a fan of. Are you looking forward to the cooler weather or does that look gloomy to you? How do you feel about Autumn?

Hey Walker, thanks so much for tagging me! I'm not sure about committing to any days of the week right now, am always pretty unsure about opening cafes anyway it's usually pretty hard for me to do. I probably worry too much but anyway I think there's other members who will do better and more popular ones.

I love fall, it's my second fave season (spring is my first fave, cos of the flowers).

Some of the things I love most about fall are all the nice smells in the air, the colors the leaves change, halloween and the way the lighting is. It's a very special and unique time of year to me. I don't mind that it cools down, when it starts to get the coldest it gets here, closer to winter, then I find that kinda uncomfortable, but I just do my best to avoid going out in it as much as possible. I don't like if we have a bunch of gray, rainy days in a row, that can sometimes start to get me down a bit but I don't mind the rain part of it (except when I have to go out in it, of course! lol). I enjoy hearing the sound of the rain falling down, I find it very soothing, calming and relaxing. Cool pics you posted too, very nice!

Happy Fall ya'all!!! I love this time of year, the crisp, fresh air, the smell of wood smoke and outdoor fires, warm clothes all soft and fuzzy, apple and pumpkin farms, hay rides and all the other fun stuff this time of year brings.

I'll try and open the cafe at least once a week, I hesitate to commit to a specific day, if I get suicidal it probaly won't go well lol

Hello there @Walker... thank you for fall pictures of fall color....miss so much the autumn leaves being a southern Californian now. Instead have to live vicariously throught this photograph in our living room.



I'm awful at commitment but I promise to try to open café as well...given my laptop issues don't want to commit as can't do a thing on my phone being technically challenged (poor excuse I know).

Wishing all a wonderful day -filled with the crispness of an autumn day... and my thoughts are with all of those who were in Ian's path....

I love Fall, although here in Texas one doesn't see all that beautiful color.

Here, the leaves all stay green until the first freeze, then turn brown and fall off. Uber boring.

I like fall up until November 1st, then it's too cold and can be snowy. But of course I love the 31st of this month because it's my favorite holiday.

No. I don't like the cold. I don't like how early it gets dark. I don't like scraping ice and shoveling snow, or at least not doing that a lot.

The snow can be beautiful sometimes, and I like Christmas. Mostly I just hibernate during winter. Time passes quickly for me, so at least it won't take that long before it's spring again.

Autumn is not too bad, except it slides into winter pretty quickly, and it's already too cold for me to want to do anything outside.

I don't think that would be a good idea for me. My cafe themes would be "I don't know what the cafe theme should be, so somebody else make up the theme", or "This cafe's theme is 'meh' ".

I'm not really a fan of autumn or winter. I think all the colours of the leaves are beautiful but it reminds me that we've got months of dark, rainy and cold coming. Like Mr May, I hate having to scrape ice off of the windscreen before leaving for work, I hate leaving for work in the dark and driving home in the dark again. I swear I am part lizard and need to bask in the sunshine for several hours a day just to survive. Roll on spring!

Autumn is my favorite season. Something about the atmosphere that's beautiful around this time of year, and the leaves changing color.
