1. do you celebrate christmas Yes we do 
2. how do you deal with the stress of christmas I don't! I worry so much all December. Buying gifts early helps and making sure I have enough time to myself to recharge helps a lot too.
3. what do you like about christmas Family time. I love spending time with my family <3 The cold weather is awesome! And eating leftovers and junk food for days after our yummy Christmas dinner!
4. what do you dislike the most about christmas Contradictory but family time again. As much as I love being with my family, I find it so stressful being around people. Also hate how it's almost expected that everyone be happy. Depression doesn't take the day off at Christmas but the world still expects everyone to be joyful and festive. I feel like if I get upset or need a break I'll ruin the fun for everyone else. I will be going to my room for a cry when I need it but I still feel guilty about it.

2. How do I deal with the stress of Christmas? - Badly. I get really stressed in the run up to it with all the gift buying and cooking. I'm often to be found crying in the kitchen. On the day itself, I tend to drink too much, burn the dinner and then cry.

i try to plan ahead in order to lession the stress of it.. but it always sneeks up somehow

Sort of. I definitely celebrate the time of the year, and celebrate elements of Christmas, Yule, and Winter Solstice.

I also try to plan ahead, and to get my shopping done early. Mercifully we don't exchange gifts anymore with any family members except my mother and nephew, and we buy a few "hostess gifts" for family members who host gatherings.

Like others, I don't like the commercialization of Christmas and the emptiness of Christmas when the spirit of Christmas is all about the presents.

Like others, I don't like the commercialization of Christmas and the emptiness of Christmas when the spirit of Christmas is all about the presents.

Not in a religion sense no. I might celebrate Yule, which is the true 'Christmas'.

Luckily most people around me are non-religious, so there is no pressure. No tree, no extravagant presents, we value birthdays more.... bla bla bla, I do not really go out just enjoy the day off work with lots of food.
