St Ignace, the Bear Ranch, Taqauamenon Falls, Copper Harbor Etc. I love the UP.
One of the best vacations I've ever taken was N. Michigan and the U.P. My ex's stepdad is from Grayling, so we flew into Traverse City (cool little airport!). We went kayaking and trout fishing on the Au Sable river and saw tons of wildlife. Went hiking at Sleeping Bear Dunes on Lake Michigan and spent some time in Traverse City and toured Grand Traverse Bay.

The UP and Lake Superior were beautiful....my great grandfather on my maternal grandmother's side was born in Munising. We visited the cemetery there and we're actually able to find his gravestone. It was a very moving experience..

We took a boat tour of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and after watched a free folk concert on the lakefront. On the way back to Grayling, we stopped at Whitefish Point and went to the Shipwreck Museum.

It was a blast!

Hi all and thank you @SillyOldBear for opening the cafe.
Like @may71 I also usually go the grocery stores for food. I also go to the market to buy vegetables and fruits.

Where are you from????
Almost forgot to mention we did visit Tahquanemon Falls State Park, second largest falls East of the Mississippi after Niagra I believe?
I love going to the falls. If you ever get back up there, there is a place that takes you on a train ride through the woods and then you get on a couple hour boat ride to the falls. The cool part of the train ride is they dump buckets of apples and the black bears come out of the woods and actually chase the train waiting for the apples to be dumped.

That sounds awesome. I haven't been to any of those places, and I live up here. I'm such a slacker, lol.
