I like July, because it's the Summer, there's lots of nice birthdays and festivals.

8) Are you a serious person? Or not really? Maybe somewhere in the middle?
I am fairly serious, yes, or "mature", as people say.

But to me that means I know when to be serious, and when to be fun or silly? I don't want to take everything too seriously, as my brain already goes in that direction too often, it's exhausting.

3) What's the most important small item you own?
How small? Cause I have an LP record I'm particularly attached to (a gift), some drawings too. My glasses are kinda important for survival in the wild, and my phone I suppose.

thanks for the tag @MisterBGone and amazingly @OfLoveAndDeath your Q#6 (Describe how you feel (now or just generally) using only a song) must have touched me telepathically because i was already answering this question at about 3AM this morning long before seeing notification, (just woken up for no apparent particular reason - (except maybe to pee), and the song popped into my mind. it is a fact that... well, here’s the song...

well, that’s me whenever i post in the Café. my posts are the “happy tune”. so now you know how i’m feeling whenever i post. it is a fact i am struggling to deal with. I just needed to answer this one right now. I’ll get to the others in a while. and btw, it is nice to see the Qs in this refreshing order. it put a smile on my face 😊.

there’s a certain individual who is “not of this earth” who might qualify but those others? we’re bound to have seen ‘em for sure by now, no?

February for many reasons. maybe most importantly because its challenging to pronounce it correctly. challenges are a good thing. but also that “certain individual” i mentioned above has a birthday in Feburary. Then this month plays with how many days it has and i just like that. it is also seemingly the shortest month but is actually the longest - as i see it anyway. i also like the color of February as it shows up in my mind. it has ground hog day too and it also - though it may be the coldest month of the year (here) - it also has a secret warmth.

sad to say, pretty serious.

Well.. 1000 ants really isnt all that much, so I would probably just go to the bathroom (the only room with non-carpet floors) and pour 3 large concentric rings of honey on the floor (to slow them down), open all the windows, and sit in the centre with a can of bug spray and a good book and wait.

I believe there are weird animals that do exist that we havent seen yet, I mean the duck billed platypus would be considered a rather ridiculous cryptid if it wasnt widely know about, so sure, perhaps some exist, but the ones people go on about, dangerous and mythical.. probably nonsense.

Ive already posted this elsewhere, but this song really does describe my life (apart from the having a love bit...)

December. Christmas is fun.

I think I am both a serious person and a very whimsical person, I dont seem to have a state between the two, I just switch between as and when I am in the mood.

Its a toss-up between my phone and my great grandfathers pocketwatch. One has almost my entire life on it (im sure I couldnt function without it) and the other has way too much history and family value.

Of course I did, I was just wondering what the purpose was, or perhaps it was just a sideways joke on all OCD people out there :P

One of my great downfalls is not being able to trust what people say about how they feel, all too often in my experience, people lie to each other about their feelings, and I know I do as well, its a way to protect either yourself from vulnerability or the other person from the realisation that you just dont care. But how great would it be if everybody could just KNOW how everyone feels about them, honestly and truly, and how we all feel about each other.

We could see that those rotten people who seem to hate us dont really like anybody, and we would oh so easily find people who DO like us, and we could trust that they do, and we would never have to say it or feel insecure, and when we fall in love we would just know, no words needing to be said, just true and honest feelings, and when we hurt others we would know that too, and be able to correct our behaviour fluidly and instantly to keep from hurting others, and others would do the same for us if they really liked us, and if they didnt, we would know.

Life would be so much better and easier if there werent so many lies around.

7) I'd probably get a lighter and burn the house down, if the ants were specifically trying to kill me - I'd have no house left but the ants would presumably be trapped inside and all burn with it.
1) I'm not entirely knowledgeable on cryptids but I'd consider myself superstitious, so I believe there may be some entities we are unaware of.
6) Posted this in the other thread, as well, I'm feeling like Unchain the Light suits my thoughts right now quite well. A little cheerful, but the overall meaning of the song is the same.

2) Doesn't really matter much to me, every month feels just like any other. Maybe January or some Winter month? I like the cold.
8) I would consider myself a very serious person. Used to be the complete opposite, but I've changed a lot since then.

7) There are a few household items available that can be used as an ant lure or deterrent of varying effectiveness.
1) Most cryptids seem likely to be misidentified animals or objects, hoaxes or hysteria. Some of them could be based on not yet discovered animals with features exaggerated by witnesses. There are always new discoveries. I'm usually skeptical when it comes to cryptids, myths and the paranormal.

8) I think I'm somewhere in the middle most of the time. It depends on the conversation and how I'm feeling. I would be serious when having a lengthy discussion or if I were to type about a serious subject on SF. Once I'm focused on something I'm unlikely to joke about it. My humor comes and goes quite quickly.

Sentimental favorite straight razor kit inherited from my grandfather. For something I carry at all times, Spyderco Civilian a knife designed for the DEA for undercover agents who might not be carrying a pistol and needed a slash and run weapon. I have used it before for that purpose.
