Yesterday was a celebration of life for my grand nephew. He died at the age of 27 last year. They could never find a cause of death. So many pictures of him. So much wondering of what life would have held for him if he were still here.

I like 3 (the feather) most. Lots of painting are of people, animals, landscapes etc. but I like to look at a fingerprint, feather or leaf in more detail because we simply miss how amazing they are.

Hey everyone, thought I'd post the cafe for today. It's the first one I have posted since it's been spring (in the Northern hemisphere anyway, lol), I'm glad winter is over for sure and I wish a happy spring to those who live where it is spring right now

#4 caught my attention, which consequently calls to mind the alluring effect cuteness and innocence has on those who would otherwise have their guard up. I imagine just after the picture was taken, the rabbit promptly devoured the photographer whole and merrily hopped away, leaving no trace but a snapshot of an adorable bunny.

Late winter/early spring is a weird time for me. I feel like it was just the new year, and now wtf it's 1/4 gone. I'm trying to get work done and make plans for the rest of the year.

I hope everyone on SF is doing alright. I'm not really. But it's possible I'll get better. I talked to a friend last night. They haven't slept for about a month and are not well at all. I tried to tell them some things that help, I mean that help me, but they have gone back to prescription opioids. That worries nme. I'm grateful I sleep well 99% of the time, and for having a roof over my head.

Oh, sure, if you feel done with the pick a pic collages for now, it's good to take a break. I hope that you'll be able to give us another theme to discuss though. Cos, no hate on the people who post cafes with general ideas instead of a tangible question like that, their cafes are nice, but i never know how to respond to those. I like having a clear topic of discussion for everyone to chime in with their takes on like this. It provokes introspection and discussion, and gives me something certain to talk about in case nothing else comes to mind.

Hey Cynical Goat, thanks for replying and great choice of pic with #1, I love that one a lot too. Love what you said about it as well.

Thanks also for being supportive about me taking a break from the pick a pic thing too, just thought it was better to give a “warning” about it so when I post the next cafe and there isn’t that pick a pic that people won’t be disappointed about it or anything like that lol. Maybe I was worrying too much about the disappointing thing though but anyway ya I really love doing questions too, or yes exactly just some kind of “theme” I understand about what you said with not being sure how to reply to the “no theme” cafes, usually for me I will just pop in, say hey, wish everyone a nice day, put some hugs emoticons and sometimes post some pics too. But ya I love having a theme, when there’s questions and things to “focus” on replying about, it really helps my mind a lot with having a distraction from “worrying” for sure, lol. Oh one last thing, if you (or anyone else for that matter, lol) have any ideas of themes/questions or topics to discuss I would be delighted to hear them, absolutely! Maybe some people would be offended by “suggestions” about that but I just wanted to make it clear that I definitely would not be, at all, and would be grateful for any/all help with ideas for them No pressure about it though, just thought I’d let everyone know it would be more than ok with me.

Ok oops kind of a long reply here but I just felt so happy reading you say you are interested in talking about subjects and having that focus cos it is definitely very much what I am needing in my life right now too. Part of why I want to take a break from the pick a pic thing too actually, lol :p
