lately i’ve seen asparagus packaged in a strange plastic that seems to keep it unspoiled for a very long time. i don’t know that the asparagus tastes so great - i find these days - the “fresh” produce one can buy lacks flavor, is often wood like, or just tastes otherworldly. but somehow we still need to survive so eating the stuff remains a thing.

Sounds funky. Mine was fresh today. My niece told me today that people are fleeing the city. Maybe back to growing gardens, with the way you describe it.

I don't have enough young children left to work a farm!

my wife wants to work a farm! Not me! i’d just be happy with food recently harvested from a farm and not kept at 33º in plastic bags for years at BJ’s. ☹️... anyway😊 it might be fun to just live in the wild and pick fruit off the trees.
