I Just googled it.
Retail therapy:
Retail therapy is shopping with the primary purpose of improving the buyer's mood or disposition.
sounds like fun, especially if you don't bring any money or credit cards so you don't make your situation worse
It was fun. Imagine shopping only $50, in an expensive country. Yeah, my country is legit ex. ๐ I was desperate to top up the essentials when I was supposed to wait for my next allowance because of emergencies. I assume with that kind of amount, I won't complete my shopping list but I challenge myself. I'm just happy that in my new neighborhood has everything - from high end, drugs stores to convenience store so I don't use some of it for transport. The lazy me would splurge and didn't complete the shopping list or buy online.
I just can't believe i did it though. I search for the stuffs not only on high end stores, I even had an impromptu thing where there's an unexpected promotional items and if it's not branded, doesn't matter - the important thing is "will I use it in long term? can I recycle some stuffs? collect ideas outside on how to use the stuffs that I haven't use? how do I finish what I have?" So yay kitty complete my shopping list under that small amount.
The thing is, even if I'm no longer suicidal, I've been depress and it always got me so unproductive and lazy. I just do small things to make me happy. If you really2 think about it, if I'm really depress, I'm just shock I'm able to think that well to complete the challenge. ^^
