Good morning/afternoon and thank you for tagging me @Champagne and the interesting facts n good food. I need this place bcz I was feeling stressed with all the cooking and clean-up but after years of spending this holiday alone while my children went to their fathers it was still ok with me. I hope my SF friends are doing fine.

What’s the worst date you've been on?

Had funny and nice ones, but picking between the first date where dude snorted coke off table or the one that wanted to run out back door to avoid check, ha.

If you had to eat the same meal at least once a day, what would it be?
Spaghetti

Which piece of clothing do you no longer wear but can't throw away?
My girl scout leader TShirt I made with my patches and pins.
Do you like pineapple on pizza? Make the case why or why not.
No thanks. Never tried. Where I grew up. The pizza guy would kick you out of his pizza parlor if you ordered this.

What do you do when you think no -one is looking

just sleep for days, but my new med has helped me fight this depression.

What’s the funniest thing you’ve read recently?

I haven't been able to concentrate to read so I googled something for you all. A German restaurant was protesting pandemic lock-down with panda bears, cute! Screenshot_20201127-042147_Chrome.jpg

THank you for opening the cafe and the tag @Champagne

Today I am staying at home all day for the first time during my vacation. I am working on a couple lanterns, getting them running again, watching Netflix "Hell on Wheels", and drinking nasty bourbon.

Here are some psychology facts for you, I hope you find them interesting :) What do you think of them?

  1. Good morning and good night text messages activate the part of the brain responsible for happiness.
  2. Definitely. I got the phone number for a young woman at work and text her every morning and the response is such a rush.
  3. Doing things that scare you will make you happier.
  4. Yes. I have a phobia about getting shot through a window when the light is on in the house and it is dark outside; you can't see outside but from outside you can see in the house. The porch where my lantern shop is has no curtains, it is all glass outside. Working out there in the morning hours is such a rush, to defy my phobia and do it anyway.
  5. The average amount of time a woman can keep a secret is 47 hours and 15 minutes
  6. A man lasts like 10 minutes.
  7. likely to last a lifetime.
  8. Women who have mostly male friends stay in a good mood more often
  9. I feel this is sexist, no comment.
  10. People who speak two languages may unconsciously shift their personalities when they switch from one language to another
  11. Yes. Pennsylvania Dutch is my primary language, I could not speak English when I started school. When I speak Pennsylvania Dutch it brings up all the old religion, the way I was raised, the feelings I had.

Questions for you guys/girls to get ye chatting!!! Have a great day!!

What’s the worst date you've been on?
I have never been on a bad date.

If you had to eat the same meal at least once a day, what would it be?
Ron White casserole.

Which piece of clothing do you no longer wear but can't throw away?
I think somewhere I still have my Amish mutzah. (Suitcoat). I would never wear it again.

Do you like pineapple on pizza? Make the case why or why not.
It is okay when someone share pizza with me and orders it that way but I would never order it myself.

What do you do when you think no -one is looking?

Never been on a date, never hugged a woman, never kissed, etc. This is 80% of why I want to kill myself.

Beans and milk or something else that's cheap with ok nutritional value and no cooking time.

Everything in the back of the closet, depends what's in the back (can be anything).

No, tastes bad.

Pick nose, pick ears, spend time with Mike Hawk, go to the restroom.

Some meme on reddit.
For #1, my sons neither, theres time, plus theres a pandemic. A good friend of mine always was soothing would say, "patience". Miss him.

All I'm saying is keep your options open bcz you never know. K, I have a friend, I've known him since age 12. Were all 50ish now. The reason why he gets so much action is because hes such an ass hound. I get if it's not your style, but he just never gives up! I lol thinking about him.
I have zero extraversion and 100% neuroticism in my big five. I can't even fucking do my laundry or get a job. The gender ratio where I live is largely scewed toward excess males. It's over.

N/A

If you had to eat the same meal at least once a day, what would it be?

Spaghettio's with MEATBALLS! ;) MMMmmm. . . ; )~*

Which piece of clothing do you no longer wear but can't throw away?
My Santa Hat given to me by a co-worker (unworn) that she'd gotten from a "Girls Night Out," -maybe I'll try it on again this year. . )
Do you like pineapple on pizza? Make the case why or why not.
Yes, only most recently though; like a year ago: when i essentially lived off/on delivery pizza. So, its the kind of hawaiin (j/c!) that has the canadian bacon on it... & not the other kind - which i can't even recall at the moment..
What do you do when you think no -one is looking?
I'm not really sure. Surely, it can't be too interesting. . .
What’s the funniest thing you’ve read recently?

Some old posts of Witty's to me (@Witty⭐Sarcasm ⭐ ) Quite the 'roaster,' that one is! ;)

My liquor store, Belmont Beverage, has a feature of various whiskey/bourbon/scotch. I like to try different varietes and they vary in price from $15 - $65. The Jesse James bourbon so far is my favorite; onley $16 for a fifth and extremely good. I bought a bottle of "Not Your Father's Bourbon" yesterday and it is terrible. $26 for a bottle and it is sweet, not what bourbon should be at all. Vanilla flavored. It is an abomination to God.

Of course the only way to drink whiskey is at room temperature, no ice. :D

1. Well, sure. It makes you feel like someone out there cares. It activates certain happiness hormones.
2. I can see that. I mean, you do something "scary" and you get through it, it also activates certain happiness hormones. Makes you feel like you accomplished something.
3. Probably true...depending on the secret, perhaps more or less.
4. Not sure i understand this one. What is likely to last a lifetime?
5. I bet they do. Because they either have them in order to use them in some way, or they just have a lot of male friends who care. In either case, they're happy.
6. I speak two languages, and I don't think I do this...unless the situation calls for it in the cultural sense. I also dream in both languages.

1. I don't really "date". I either get into relationships right away or I don't.

2. About 20 of them.

3. Hell no. Sweet stuff shouldn't normally mix with salty or savory stuff. It's just not right.

4. I sing sometimes...or talk to myself. Repeat conversations back to myself.

5. The funniest thing I've read...I suppose Trump being all bitter about losing. That was pretty funny.

Wish everyone a wonderful weekend! *hug

What’s the worst date you've been on?
The ones that were not supposed to be dates but "two friends spending time with each other". In particular, my hand being taken in public across the table in a non-friendly way by a ""friend"". Nope.

If you had to eat the same meal at least once a day, what would it be?
Bread with hummus. I practically do every morning already.

Which piece of clothing do you no longer wear but can't throw away?
I should declutter and come back to this question.

Do you like pineapple on pizza? Make the case why or why not.
No. Fruit (pineapple at least) is sweet. No sweet things on my pizza, thank you. :)
Hmm, also, I don't like pineapple at all. :D

What do you do when you think no -one is looking?
I relax the muscles of my face, stop pretending and look "sad".

What’s the funniest thing you’ve read recently?
Probably some compliments.

Just wondering, why would anyone listen to a metal band (or any band in general) that sings about movies and other forms of media (i.e. a song about the movie Halloween or The Exorcist). Good movies, but why turn them into songs? I just think that's odd. Music should be about personal experience and come from the heart. @Auri and anyone else, opinions?

Oh, seems like I missed a question. The same meal every day for the rest of my life would probably be a philly cheesesteak. Granted, that would also be horrible for my stomach to eat on a daily basis, but that's a different story.

I'm not against it. I think there's no limit in what you can talk about in your art, and it can be personal feelings, educational, entertaining... Whatever. I'd say singing about other forms of media usually comes from admiration for another piece of art, to pay tribute to it, to revive it or promote it, or to express the same feelings or talk about the same topic in another way. For example. :)

Yeah, but you're essentially using someone else's art to make your own art. That's not really how art is supposed to work. It's supposed to come from you, personally.
