first of all thank you!! That topic hit a nerve.. I have just fought mother again and got away from house. And now on street have nothing to do.. This invite made me smile. Equilibrium is I guess out of my league . I am always on the edge and literally don't know what to do what I want to do in this life... Everything around me is shining with life and sunlight. I am feeling casted away. And sunshine doesn't do any good to me. I know this post was supposed to be cheerful but I fail again. I can't even write a beautiful comment/ reply. I don't know... I started the day trying to be better and a little bit confident. But it turned out to be a joke when she roasted me again. I feel like a tiny bug .an ugly fly that disgusts people flying. And people try to kill the fly. Try to kill it. Try to kill it. Even if they fail and fly survives, it feels smaller day by day. Have fun people..
Being on the edge doesn’t mean it’s over, it means you’re backed into the proverbial corner and have but one choice: fight back. This of course is not meant literally, I mean simply to say that you can fight for what you believe in, for what you want. In this instance, it appears that you are fighting against you’re own self. I spoke at length with my psychotherapist about how I am capable of recognising and appreciating a positive, only to immediately cancel it out with a negative, so trust me you’re not alone.
You say that equilibrium is out of your league, and yet after an argument that left you feeling alone and sad, a simple invite from a friend made you smile... balance. It might not be much, but it happens on a daily basis to all of us whether we like it or not. The real trick is spotting it. Perspective is key, taking a step back and truly looking at what is happening. I know you are capable of writing beautiful comments and replies, I have seen them, but who said you had to do one this time anyway? You haven’t failed as there was no test set in the first place; in actual fact you have succeeded in reaching out truthfully rather than pretending to be okay. Personally I’m glad you did as I’d far rather a post of mine attract honesty than bullshit. If you’re down then be down but don’t hide it, just don’t forget to tell us when you’re feeling up.
To me, you’ve at least tried to start the day with confidence, which okay hasn’t worked out; but was this an argument that is worthy of pushing you back to the beginning? Are you going to let it? Recognise that you tried, take a breather, learn from today, and try again.
Feeling like something doesn’t necessarily make it so; you are not this “ugly fly” to us. I hope you can find some peace and quiet today, and I sincerely hope you can manage at least one more smile. {{Hedgehugs}}
