Hello Everyone.

I want to start out with a special invite to @alixer

It turns out Alix and I both love the TV show MASH! I could make this a MASH cafe, after all it would be great fun. Hawkeye and Trapper gave their approval right away.

AND.....I have a cake too, commemorating the "Swamp," the tent where the two surgeons above spent a lot of their time:

First person to guess which sign isn't from the original show wins a free virtual cup of joe!

But I don't know how many MASH fans we actually have here at SF, so I thought we could make the theme "laughter" and just have an open mike here in Jim's cafe instead. I have set up a stage in the corner away from the noisy espresso machine so don't be shy!

Share anything that makes you laugh or smile. Something from your a sit-com you enjoy, a joke, a pic of your favorite comedian, whatever you feel like doing.

I've never seen MASH or a lot of the shows posted on here. My favorite funny show is The Office (US version). I feel like it's always on Comedy Central when I'm riding the exercise bike at the gym. I miss that show, even though I only started watching it in the last few seasons.
Tonight is the rugby formal. It should be a fun time, but I have this weird sense of impending doom about it so I don't know. I also don't have a date, and I think pretty much everybody else is bringing someone. So I'm gonna be the weirdo loner I guess. I probably could've had someone help get me a date, but I would feel bad having someone have to be my date.

Thank you for the invite @Ineluki and @may71! Appreciate it very much, but I always end up being the last one to arrive - I threw a party for myself over the weekend. It involved a bottle of wine. All that was missing was some college kids, some random new age pop music by artists no one ever heard of, and a Koosh ball.

I don't know the hell kind of party that would've transformed into if those missing items came into play, though. But someone would've gotten arrested either way.
