Thanks for the cafe and tag @Lane ❤️

1) Do you have a nick name? How did you get it?

I have a few - some are affectionate but some are a bit mean. I'll go with "Cat magnet" - thanks to @may71 🐱

2) If you could break any world record, what would it be.

I could probably break the world record for insomnia. But if we were talking about one I actually wanted to break, maybe the 100m sprint or marathon records 😂

3) whatcha up to this weekend?

Hopefully as little as possible. Sleep, meditation, some walking and hopefully cooler weather.

I do have a nickname, the girls at work call me hootie . I honestly dont recall the origin.

2. I think I'd pick breaking the world record for hoola hooping. Good at it and like to do it.

3. Going camping. Theres a pool, store, showers and even a café. So guess its actually glamping .*thumbsup

Thanks for the tag. I don't have a nickname, I don't know what world record I'd like to break. And this weekend I'll be working but I'm hoping to get my nails done for the very first time on Sunday evening! I don't know if will go in with my natural longish nails or trimmed. Might go trimmed and if I like the nail work done I can grow them out. Thanks lane.

My frI end calls me “the nice lady that feeds me “ saying that’s what the cats know me as. Other than that I don’t have a nickname. I also don’t know what my world record would be. Traveling home today (I am in the airport right now). The last part of the trip is a bust. But I am happy that I got to Alaska. I intend to relax tomorrow.

Hi Lane, and everyone else! It's been a long time since I've popped in here... It has been so warm recently in England, I'm loving it, but I cannot imagine the payment in the future. I drink way more water than hot drinks and I miss my tea, your pictures look delightful! :)

1) Do you have a nick name? How did you get it?
Actually a lot of people in my life call me Auri now, and it does come from SF and marrying someone from here. I've always hated my real name so I simply demanded my husband keep calling me that when we first met, and it stuck with his family and some of my friends, too. Yay!

2) If you could break any world record, what would it be?
I'm not sure, perhaps the most books read in a lifetime. :p I am not a particularly fast reader so it's very unlikely, but I have such a long wishlist and I'll never have the time!

3) whatcha up to this weekend?
It's one of those rare weekends with no plans. :) We will certainly watch both football matches of the World Cup final, having lots of fun with that this Summer. I want England 3rd and Spain for the win!

thank you for tagging me

1) Do you have a nick name? How did you get it?
i have quite a lot of nicknames, most of them are just based off of my regular name. its very nick-namable i think. some people also call me by the name of my best friend because of a joke that we're so the same people get us mixed up, or some have called me 'spot' because i was a dog in a play.

2) If you could break any world record, what would it be.
most plays acted in in a lifetime?

3) whatcha up to this weekend?
proboably not very much. i dont usually do anything most days besides sleeping.

Thanks for the tag, I'll have a tea and add ice cubes : )

1. I have had a few nicknames lol
2. Hmm maybe, it's just a fantasy but a world record in ultra long distance running.
2. Nothing interesting to report for the weekend. Getting a haircut and just showing up for my exercise and run/walking.

Thanks for the tag 😊

1) Do you have a nick name? How did you get it?

I have many nicknames. Some are related to my legal name but I won't share them. However they were given to me by my dad and other family members.

In highschool my best friend then called me Turtle because I lived turtles, they felt like my spirit animal because I liked to stay in my shell, physically I was slow (still am and now a bit mentally slow 😅) and I preferred to "stay in my shell". After highschool I started going by Kame as it is the Japanese word for Turtle and I enjoy anime and other Japanese cultures.

2) If you could break any world record, what would it be.

If I was to break a world record I probably would want to break a record for the most things studied or should I say the ability to do most things on my own (because I do a lot independently now as it is and because a lot of people showed me I cant rely on them for help).

3) whatcha up to this weekend

Need to study the driving handbook, wirk on some of the practice tests for getting my permit (have actually been deciding on if I want to go ahead and try for my license or go fir the permit instead so I can have time to practice, because I don't know what all to expect with the driving test)

Hey all. *grouphug2
Thanks to @Lane for opening the cafe and tagging me. *hug

1) Do you have a nick name? How did you get it?
I think it could be argued Kreia is a nickname of mine. A lot of people still refer to me as Kreia, although now it's kind of outdated. Ferro would be the up to date equivalent i'd rather they switched to. They're both the names for my sonas, past and present, which is how i present/presented myself to communities of other furries/scalies.

2) If you could break any world record, what would it be.
The most 100% completed games. Very unrealistic goal though, i'm pretty sure there are people out there who are well into the tens of thousands by now. Makes my 185 seem pathetic by comparison. :D

3) whatcha up to this weekend?
Hopefully gonna spend some energy on looking into apprenticeships, and keep practicing my Dutch. Aside from that, same as @Kaya said, just hang out with her and play games.

1. I've had a few nicknames over the years. I was one year too old to be diagnosed with ADHD as a kid. The class right behind mine got ritalin handed out like candy, but nobody noticed anything off with me. Except for the teacher in elementary who might have used "space cadet" once or twice.

When I worked in a restaurant, my nickname was "huggy bear" hence the little label on my profile. It was intended as a hazing type maneuver, where they would tease the hell out of me to see if I'd break. I didn't - so I was accepted as one of the boys (who were all well into their 20s and I was a youngin).

With my friends they took my IRL name and just dropped the first syllable of the two. It sounded like a rapper type name, which they found amusing and I went with it. I'm whiter than sour cream, lol. Kind of like calling a guy "too short" when he's 6 foot-8 inches. However, when someone uses it today without knowing that was my nickname in the music scene, it's disorienting. I noticed that when I hear that name, I drop right back into the same persona I use with my close friends, including slang, when in mixed company I am far more reserved and choose my words carefully. In other words, I go from professional to roughneck without knowing why until later. I'm sure it's amusing for the other person, since they see my mask slip for a second until I recover.

2. I have no interest in breaking a world record. The Guinness book seems so contrived, e.g., "Largest Hot Pot ever constructed." I thought I might break it for hiccups once but there's someone who, sadly, has had hiccups nonstop for a much longer time. I had one bout that was a matter of days and I started to wonder if it would ever stop. BTW I tried every goddam folk remedy; a friend even took it upon himself to startle me out of it. But, I think mediocrity gets a bad rap. What's wrong with being in the middle of the herd? I don't like attention (except when I'm performing, ofc), and I'd rather be pushing myself to grow than to be "the best" at anything. So if I become a large fish in a small pond, I point myself toward a bigger pond.

3. My mom and a few other relatives all have birthdays in July and we're doing a combined celebration at my mom's place tomorrow (Sat). After that, I need to get a desktop PC with more horsepower than the laptop (with all my abundant money), so I'll be shopping and reading buying guides. I'm not above getting a refurbished one, but I still think I'd need a graphics card and RAM upgrade after that.
