In some parts of the world it is Mother's Day, so Happy Mother's day for all you fantastic moms out there, have an amazing day!!

Now some fun for you all; what would you rather!!

1.Would you rather spend the rest of your life with a sailboat as your home or an RV as your home?

2. Would you rather give up all drinks except for water or give up eating anything that was cooked in an oven?

3. Would you rather be able to see 10 minutes into your own future or 10 minutes into the future of anyone but yourself?

4. Would you rather have an easy job working for someone else or work for yourself but work incredibly hard?

1.Would you rather spend the rest of your life with a sailboat as your home or an RV as your home? I do love the ocean but I can't swim so probably wouldn't be practical for me to live in a place where I could drown frequently I love road trips so RV

2. Would you rather give up all drinks except for water or give up eating anything that was cooked in an oven? I only really drink squash anyway which is mostly water so.....does that count as water lol?! if not then I'd rather give up oven stuff because plain water is too boring

3. Would you rather be able to see 10 minutes into your own future or 10 minutes into the future of anyone but yourself? my own I suppose.. I was going to say what's the worst that can happen in 10 minutes but a lot can happen in a short amount of time so um 2

4. Would you rather have an easy job working for someone else or work for yourself but work incredibly hard? hmm I've always thought it would be more ideal working for myself so then I don't have to worry about social anxiety or living up to someone else's expectations which I hate, but if it's easy I guess someone else...I don't know I still don't like the idea of following someone else's rules though

5. Would you rather go back to age 5 with everything you know now or know now everything your future self will learn? I would love to be a kid again and there's so many things I wish I would have done differently the past 14 years now I know things but omg I couldn't handle living through everything again, hell no, once was enough. I'd rather know everything now my future self will learn- save me making mistakes or making things worse etc

Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers out there on the forum! I wish you a carefree day where someone is pampering you and showing you how important you are!



1.Would you rather spend the rest of your life with a sailboat as your home or an RV as your home?
Probably an RV. I am not a very strong swimmer and would be worried about rolling out of bed into the water at some point.

2. Would you rather give up all drinks except for water or give up eating anything that was cooked in an oven? Definitely give up everything but water. The only thing to avoid at that point is cookies cuz.... no milk!

3. Would you rather be able to see 10 minutes into your own future or 10 minutes into the future of anyone but yourself? 10 minutes in my own future would be nice. Help me avoid accidents and really bad decisions.

4. Would you rather have an easy job working for someone else or work for yourself but work incredibly hard? I'm going to be lazy and pick the easy job!

5. Would you rather go back to age 5 with everything you know now or know now everything your future self will learn? I don't think going back to age 5 would be helpful. I would be too worried about making a decision that would negate my kids' existence to actually enjoy any kind of do over. I'd rather know what my future self knows.

Now some fun for you all; what would you rather!!

1.Would you rather spend the rest of your life with a sailboat as your home or an RV as your home? i think if i only had those two choices and i had to choose one, i’d go with the RV. (unless there was a clause such as repairs are only available on the boat and not the RV or something else tricky) or maybe the boat if i could bring it up on land when ever i felt like it. but who knows.

2. Would you rather give up all drinks except for water or give up eating anything that was cooked in an oven? would giving up the oven cooked stuff mean i could not drink gravy? hmm.

3. Would you rather be able to see 10 minutes into your own future or 10 minutes into the future of anyone but yourself? i think i’d take the somebody else option.

4. Would you rather have an easy job working for someone else or work for yourself but work incredibly hard? depends on resulting income of course. but incredibly hard work for myself seems appropriately satisfying if i could just find a way to make that a doable thing.

5. Would you rather go back to age 5 with everything you know now or know now everything your future self will learn? i’d go with the 5 for sure.

Either are fine with me. Some stuff you can cook in an oven or stove top or grill.

3. Would you rather be able to see 10 minutes into your own future or 10 minutes into the future of anyone but yourself? 10 minutes is not a lot.
I choose someone else. Someone interesting.

I'll take the knowledge from the future. Then I can change it.

there is so much to tell and ask a mother who has become unavailable. i know this well. she may not even have ever known how i feel and why. but a person has to keep going - you... me... anyone has to keep going with belief that somehow she does know it enough.

RV for sure, oh the places I'd go if I had one of those!

Give up all drinks, I've pretty much had to do that anyway over the last few years (can still drink tea as well at least lol).

Would this be a constant ability or a 1 time only thing? If a 1 time only thing then someone else's I guess. Even if it was an all the time thing I think I'd still prob. pick someone else's but such an ability would be kind of distracting I think lol.

Easy job working for someone else, definitely. I don't like something that is too challenging, yes I admit it I know most people wouldn't admit such a thing but what the heck I'm not popular here anyway so it's not exactly like I have a thing to lose by just admitting it lol.

5. Would you rather go back to age 5 with everything you know now or know now everything your future self will learn?
The 2nd thing I think cos at age 5 to have such knowledge would be too overwhelming and according to the world you are helpless so then you'd have to be constantly battling with people underestimating you and all kinds of nonsense like that. There'd be a higher chance of seriously impressing people as an adult overall I think, or at least where you are taken a lot more seriously than a kid would be.

RV definitely. Not a fan of living on the water.

I guess I drink way more tea and coffee than I use my oven, so I'd give up the oven!

10 minutes? I think I'd abuse of that feature, too addictive. So let's go for others. At least I could give them advice practically the same way II do right now, except that I'd have more information. But 10 minutes of their future wouldn't allow me that much.

Million dollar question. It depends on the job, I can't say. I usually end up working hard for someone else. 2

Too hard. I think what the future self will learn so I can make my future better and learn even more (paradox, you said?). Going back in time would make me change some things, which wouldn't result in other things... I wouldn't be the same person anymore, and believe it or not, I could end up worse!
