1.Do you think that in the future, something like time travel will be possible?
-probably.

2.If time travel was possible now, where would you go into the past or the future?
- as someone who's always anxious about the future i want to know what's in it so i can prepare for it.

3.What do you think would be good and bad for time travel?

I'm a science nerd so I might spoil the fun.

1. The general consensus is no, because that would mean travelling faster than light and that means infinite energy.

Well unless you mean travel forward in time which is super easy, in limited capacity anyway.

Also, if time travel was possible... Then where are all the tourists from tue future, right?

That said there's an actual experiment going on right now, warping space-time using lasers, which might in theory become a real time machine, making it possible to send messages back and forth in time, although only as far back/forward when the machine exists. So who knows.

2.+3. Ugh come on. Like seriously if they make a time machine in the near future, the universe is screwed.

4. I'm going with the BTTF trilogy if for nothing else then because it's the only movie trilogy where the 3rd movie doesn't suck. And it's funny. And Marty's mom is hot.

There was also a cute short story I read a while ago. It basically went like this:

A scientist were demonstrating a brand new time machine. First, forwards. He put a cube in the machine, the cube disappeared and then reappeared 10 seconds later - it travelled forward in time.

Then backwards. The cube appeared in the machine, and 10 seconds later the scientist put it in. (It made sense when in the original written form).

Someone asked, what would happen if the cube appeared, but the scientist didn't put it in the machine to travel back in time? That would be a paradox right?

He answered he didn't think of that, but let's try it.

So the cube appeared, and they counted to 10 without putting the cube in. And the cube, the machine, the scientists and the entire universe disappeared.
That's all right. Every opinion / answer is valuable. And thank you for the interesting answers.

1.Do you think that in the future, something like time travel will be possible? Really can't see how, feels so impossible but I love the idea of it for sure.

2.If time travel was possible now, where would you go into the past or the future? To 1977 as I know I've said when a similar kind of q was asked before lol cos that's the year Star Wars came out & I would want to be 17-20 years old.

3.What do you think would be good and bad for time travel? Good would be that horrendous mistakes could be corrected, bad would be if people went back in time (or in the future) and made it so someone hadn't been born or w/e other kinds of evil things like that.

4.If you saw a movie or read a book about time travel. Which one did you like best? Haven't read many like that but one I read that was kinda cool was "Timeline".
Thank you. As I look, so many people would rather go to the past.:)
