It's been almost week since someone started a cafe so I stole the keys and opened up for this weekend.

Big winter storm this weekend for me and I believe @1964dodge . I plan to hunker down, maybe do some crafts, binge watch tv - something I have never really done before. (binge watch tv). Hopefully the power will stay on. Otherwise lots of sleep.

1) What are your plans for the weekend?

My answers -

1) No plans at all. Download movies, play my PS5, browse the web. That's about it. Oh, and listen to music, which is very important to me.
2) Well, weather-wise it is quite hot down here. I don't have aircon, just fans. I will be buying an air con in a few months, ready for next summer!
3) Special days?? Yeah, I guess so. I look forward very much so, to Mondays and Thursdays as I meet up with dad. Oh, and my sister is coming down to sydney on the 10th. Can't wait to see her!

1) Im going to NY right after work to beat the snow and have a 60th birthday party on Saturday night if it's not cancelled. Staying with someone I've been seeing for a few years but he has heat in only one room in his apartment because he likes it like that so I'm going to have to bundle up 🙄.

2) special days..I'm thinking next weekend I'm taking my friends daughter to breakfast for her birthday, she's 6.

Then to 5 and below to pick out 5 gifts.

I hope you enjoy your binge watching S. I do like to do that occasionally. Let us know what you wind up watching. I'm at the tail-end of of the Sopranos.

Hello @cymbele! Thanks for the tag, and cafe, it's always great to see when someone opens one up We always get lots of snow where I live, so much in fact that I just look outside to check the weather, its always snowing.
1. No plans, just work
2. Being ill suited to the snow and cold I hibernate as much as a human can hibernate during the winter months
3. My bills are all due

1. No special plans. I've done an online supermarket shop coming tomorrow. Since I spend so much time in supermarkets and I hate it, having a delivery is my 'what a time to be alive' moment! I'm toying with the need to make chocolate brownies (now my migraine has lifted - there is no hope for me!) and the need to be good before my blood test on Monday. I think those brownies are going to win...

2. Weather wise it's crap. Mild, misty, windy, raining, dull. There are some unusual birds in my garden at the moment, very temporary visitors, and I planned to get up and take photos if the sun was shining early, as it was yesterday. Opened the curtains this morning and couldn't see for the fog.

3. No, I don't think so. My dad died on Jan 30, I usually think of that day. It was a long time ago so I don't feel morbid about it.

That is my boring life!

1) What are your plans for the weekend?
Nothing now my husband has tested positive for COVID, it’s the second time he’s had it. I’m starting to feel lousy too so it’s going to be a quiet weekend with our son, I think, which is not a bad thing
2) anything special weather-wise?
I don’t think so, it’s just really cold and wet here in the U.K at the moment.
3) any special days coming up?
Not that I can think of, might go for a meal around Valentine’s Day with my husband because that’s when we started going out 8 years ago. And then it’s my birthday in March on St Patrick’s day.

1. I enjoy the NFL playoff games like @Blue Star . They have been great! But will probably sit in front of the TV more than I should.

2. Its been VERY cold here in the midwest. My temps are like @Astrid78 has. -20F, -29C. I think the blizzard conditions will miss us. We already have over a foot of snow. I hope everyone says warm where needed, or stays cool like @Pebble mouse if you are down under .

3. Special Days- probably have wrist surgery soon. 🙄
Will then be resting watching more TV than needed. SuperBowl should be good if everyone keeps on playing so competitively.
I enjoy the WINTER OLYMPICS Too.

1. I enjoy the NFL playoff games like @Blue Star . They have been great! But will probably sit in front of the TV more than I should.

Usual weekend, sort out business orders, visit parents. Dad’s in hospital again so visit him there. Then potentially hide away as much as I can for the rest of the time.

1) What are your plans for the weekend? Weekends are Fridays where I live but everyday is a weekend for me now that I graduated. I study a load of materials no matter what day a week for med school entrance exam and I obv don't plan on not doing it just bc it's weekend.
2) anything special weather-wise? Sadly no, I want some snow/rain. My city is quite rainy most of the time but nowadays it barely does.
3) any special days coming up? Not much nowadays, I guess going to the dentist and laser hair removal session tomorrow are my "special" plans now.

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well.


1) What are your plans for the weekend?

I have to work Saturday morning, so will probably be lazy that night. I'm off Sunday, so will probably watch some movies, clean, play games, and just hang out.


2) anything special weather-wise?

It's been flurrying here today, but it's supposed to stop tonight. The weekend will be very cold, which is always nice for staying in.

No, but I'd like to believe that every day is special in some way, even the bad days.
